I wanted to comment on your message board, because I thought it would be a little better than on your thread about the semi-rape that your best friend did to you.

Really you should lay all of your feelings out to him about the situation and what happened. He may feel even more guilty, but that shouldn't restrict you from letting him know. He sounds like a nice guy, your best friend. I'm sure that if you did, a lot of things will be cleared up and at least one piece of the puzzle can be put out of your guys minds. Something like rape, even semi-rape, is traumatizing and holding it in doesn't help.

Hanging out with each other may make you and him feel more comfortable around each other. What I'm wondering is if your friend was drunk? It didn't give him an excuss at all, but maybe it will help.

I'm sure you don't want to talk about this to your parents, but if you want to truly get this off your chest in confidence there are always counselers, if you are in school, and others in the field that can help you.

I want to apologize for the way some of the users here acted in your thread, these are serious matters. But coming to a Anime Forum asking for advice on this may not be the best way to get it, because immaturity lingers in all of the users, including me...sometimes. Also, I've never been in a situation like you were, so I can't say much.

I hope we can become friends, and maybe we can talk about this more, if you want to!

I used to be really shy and really emotional as well. The world does some harsh things to people like you and me man. And believe it or not I used to think the exact same thing about nice guys finish last. My best piece of advice for you is keep trying man and don't take anything too seriously when it comes to trying to court girls. Just keep the conversation light. And if you ever need to talk to someone (as cheesy as this sounds) you can message me :)
