Any chance you can elaborate on how to find the initial speed of an object, assuming it decelerates to zero after traveling a known distance? Talking purely from air resistance here, disregarding the effects of gravity and shit. Thanks.

Don't imagine that you'll get to answering this any time soon.. but might as well put it out there, given I'm pretty sure you have the best understanding of this sort of shit around here. :catthinks

I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first season. Elektra seemed all over the place, and the Hand weren't very satisfying villains, because they didn't have much going for them besides being a nebulous evil organization, which makes it hard to care. It was cool seeing Nobu again, but there was nothing like the buildup Fisk got.

They could have had something like that with the Punisher, I think, if they’d put more effort into the trial phase and him meeting up with his nemesis, but at that point the Hand had started dominating the plot more. They’re still setting up the Hand for next season, sure, but that doesn’t justify not delivering enough material for them to be interesting this season.

i'm glad you feel that way cuz it was blatant to me that s2 was worse but dumb niggas kept trying to pretend otherwise. i agree completely on elektra and the hand, especialy how lackluster the latter was

True, depends on what you really like to be honest. Math skills could also improve so it's not really a big problem.

Remember that you have a long life ahead :maybe

Yep you can always teach; a grad degree expands the horizon, but obviously you must know where you want to go. Actually being an experimental physicist is very nice, you get to notice the true depth of physics. I know that because my friend @UTS is an experimental physicist. He got sent to the north-pole once :maybe

      Not necessarily :maybe

So theoretical physics? that is quite a thing to get involved in. You could definitely teach and do research at the same time and I believe going for grad. school as early as possible would be a good idea. That's what I will do knowing that I definitely won't continue grad if I start working first :maybe

Yep, the workload is insane tbh but it was either that or mechatronics engineering, and ehh, maybe I decided to play it safe in the end.

Do you plan to teach physics?

That'd explain the difference then. Thought so given the blog's second value closer corroborates the PDF's value, but I wasn't sure and hardly feel confident in my almost non existent thermodynamics knowledge to say.

I'll probably stick to the first value at any rate, it's more conservative and nothing about what I linked really suggests molecular bonds were broken in their entirety as far as I can tell *shrugs*

You good with this sort of thing?

Is the value gotten there applicable to this kind of feat?

Or is the value derived here more on target?

What's up with the general disparity in yield between the two anyway? Are we just horrendous at checking Thermo? Or is it something else?

      Huh

      Right

I could have totally measured the distance it expanded outside the ship for my distance

I'm just happy Biotic Barrier is the "mass increasing" field as opposed to "mass decreasing" like lift or throw biotic powers. Still doesn't explain why mass manipulation gives psychic powers, or even why Barrier works, but at least I don't need to deal with thinking about the pressure of a lower mass water.
    20. ChaosTheory123
      ChaosTheory123
Question about how I did this feat

Would the distance the barrier expands be the distance she exerts the Force over?

Or should I just stick to melee range? :hmm
