Alternatively, that was terribly dull mislead.
      But I expected much less.

Thanks for reminding me that I had decided to begin some independent studies in Mathematics.

Seems there are a lot of necessities I have to re-establish before I can start indulging in possibilities. Rolle's Theorem; Systems of Linear Algebraic Equations; Linear Independence, Eigenvalues, Eigenvectors; Laplace Transform; Applications of Definite Integrals, Double Integrals, Triple Integrals; Vector Fields, Independence of Path, Green's Theorem, Stoke's Theorem; Nonhomogeneous Linear Differential Equations; Wiener's Geometric Model of Physical Brownian Motion.

When you read a lot of literature, you start to begin to notice that a lot of writers play off each other, revising and expanding ideas, appropriating and utilising general axioms,--those understood as timeless and effective,--occasionally taking artifice, their discipline, further, whenever imagination suffices. There seems to be a correlative activity, inevitable or deliberate, conscious or unconscious, amongst mathematicians; though apparently Newton and Leibniz came up with their conceptions of Calculus simultaneously and independently. The usefulness of either can be questioned, they are essentially a network of abstract ideas, elevated communications, detached from experienc, but the one is rooted in concretion; the other... the one at least professes of beauty; the other, well, there is Dirac...

Hey mislead. It's good to have you back. And I mean that in the most insincere way possible, because I never read your posts, and when I do, find them terribly dull.

I've decided to begin some independent studies in mathematics, left brain has been slacking off lately, and would like a little arbitrary guidance that I'm likely to ignore.

      Discrete Mathematics, yay or nay?

      Fractal Geometry, ditto

feel free to interject with your own suggestions

I see you on my friends list. I know your true feelings, resistance is futile.

What's this group that only you and I are in but which I'm not aware of?

Do I want to know? Do you even care about all those personal notifications on this board that you leave, as always, unanswered?

      Am I real? :LOS

I see you have exquisite taste in your choice of threads, as of late. I wish I could rep you for your last victory, but alas I have already spent my twenty-four hour allowance, so it will have to wait.

In response to the current thread you are viewing: Yes.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. How's Poland? :LOS
