        No i have not yet
Wasn't able to get my hands on those games yet.
        And oh Blackmore
yeah he can be a pain but once you figure out his movement it's very easy. And Dracula is a bitch honestly. First attack movement is easy but then it gets annoying with the blood werewolf. Yeah i mean it's not supposed to be easy anyway, final boss after all.

Albus is OP but fun regardless.
Large cavern is a pain you have to be quick and always on the move. Training area is easy, no rush at all.
Yeah again the castle have the end game spells which make everything a breeze which is for the best of course. And needed when getting to Dracula of course.
Again i love the game, very underappreciated.

Tbph, I'm not very patient. I just attack and hope they die before I die. :lmao I might not have been that way if I knew about the no damage medals before I started... but I didn't and I didn't want to restart. :ippy It was one of the harder Dracula fights for Metroidvanias. : O
Albus is fun. He's just like Maxim from HoD. High offense, low defense.
Good luck getting the games. : I

They did? Well, I know nothing about LoZ so... I've always wanted to at least play one or two of them. I could never get into Metroid for some reason. I've tried 3 different games and more than once for each. It just isn't happening.
Well, I guess since it's non-canon, it's not really important. But now that IGA is gone... it seems like they're not gonna finish the original storyline. 1999 needs a game. :mad
Buying a DLC for a character is never OK. Why pay for anything? :ippy
N'SYNC is definitely the most memorable one for me. It's Gonna Be Me was always a song I enjoyed. :>
I guess it makes sense. A lot of stuff is through download now. It takes up room to carry stuff few if any people are gonna buy. I kinda wish I brought MK Deception when I had a chance now...
MMORPGs. I don't like them. What is the end goal of one? When does one "beat" the game? Although I guess there is a campaign mode on some games.
I don't consider anything other than cheating devices to be actual cheating. Glitching is a grey area. 50 shades of grey area.
I don't like too difficult. There's a fun factor and a frustration factor. If the frustration factor exceeds the fun, it makes playing the game more annoying than fun. I still haven't played OoE. It's just not half as playable as DoS to me... And I've beaten Castlevania III. :rage
Alright, but I have nothing past PS2 and Bayonetta is better new IIRC.
Supernatural stuff is always fun. I mean, it's a pretty important aspect of fantasy.
Well, the show isn't as good as it used to be but I think it's still worth watching.
I see. Well, I guess those are fine reasons. I do think there aren't too many female characters in games for the most part. But maybe that'll change in the future.
Your friend is hardcore. : O
Pokemon is pretty fun. : O I never got past Gen IV. I still kinda want to play more gen 4 tbph. I can't believe they're not making a Z... 5 generations of tradition going down the drain...
Well, I don't Skype much these days. If you want to give it to me, you can. If not, you don't have to. Up to you. If you do, do it through PMs. :B

Yup, that's the bottom line there. I think it'll come though.

Tell me all about your cosplays and the things you bake!
    6. Leeroy Jenkins
      Leeroy Jenkins
Yeah, I'll use an empty whatsapp convo for remembering things. Just the volume of things I'll forget and the time span it takes for me to do so is rather daunting at times. I think I'll eventually be able to make myself do it, it's just other stuff that distracts me and brings my energy level down.

What about you? Are you in school? What kinds of hobbies or projects are you involving yourself in?
    7. Leeroy Jenkins
      Leeroy Jenkins
Yeah, working on the job thing. It's just a loooot of lag time during phases for some reason.

Organization has always been an issue for me, it's just something I don't do very well. Planning is something else I don't do well. I never plan anything and when I do, it usually fails. My ability to forget things is rather amazing. I might remember to make a list, but then forget some things on the list.

My disorganization is usually organized enough for me to remember where it is, unless I can't remember where I put it or if I still have the thing.
    8. Leeroy Jenkins

I've been going to community college. It's something I don't usually have the money for and it's not absolutely necessary for things I'm thinking about doing, like starting my own business. I'm just reallllyyyy lazy and also really bad at multi-tasking. I probably need to get the job stuff out of the way, then take care of the rest of my insurance stuff, then focus on doing things I need to do to make that business work.
    9. Leeroy Jenkins
      Leeroy Jenkins
Yeah, in my case it's just the unexpected no hours at work combined with not easily getting a second job to supplement what should have been consistent hours with the first job. I'm just working on getting a job and that's about it. In the mean time, I'm kinda sitting here not doing anything so as to not spend money.

NYCC tickets were terribly hard to get. I waited 2.5 hours on virtual line event thought I was on the website on the dot!!! Anyways, this year I am doing the same but will get a couple of people to help me as back up.......it's crazy.

Well, I don't think it's awful but I do think it makes it less mysterious. Maybe not explaining the origin of the whip might have been good. IDK, there are some things which no explanation might be better. I wonder if the gameplay is any good or not. And what was so bad about Sonia? DX Well, I think simpler gameplay is better for platforming. Leave the combos to fighting games. :I
Well, maybe you can't ever get enough but that's not very little either. :B
I prefer original releases too. Nothing like playing the experience as it was first presented. Remakes are fine and all... but I like to keep it simple. :>
DLC is just another way to nickel and dime you. It's like you don't even own the game but you're renting it instead. :mad
What's wrong with that? I like both bands. You're just too blind to see. You can't deny, so just tell me why. Every little thing I do never seems enough for you :p Let me show you the true shape of my heart. :skysun
I went to GameStop about two weeks ago to see if they have really old stuff. They don't even seem to have PS2 stuff anymore. DX
The most hardcore games are MMORPGs. Those never end. I don't really like that. I need to "beat" the game to get closure.

I always just use a guide for Megaman. I don't really like trial and error. I have no problem looking up a guide to beat games. An efficient fun is a fun run. :catskully
Eh, they're pretty good. 2 isn't bad but not as memorable. 3 is... insanely tough and I have never gotten far. They're harder than the Castlevania games overall. :B
And yeah, I heard the XBox Ninja Gaiden games were hard too. I guess that's their trademark. @___@ Kinda rare since games tend to be easier and easier these days. I do have to admit I prefer too easy over too hard. Nothing is worse than a frustrating game. :ippy
Do you actually plan on playing them? : O The first one seems weird. You can pick each character you use so there isn't really character development. I mean, you can have four knights if you want. Kinda destroys one of my favorite aspects of fiction in general since each character has no true personality.
DMC is alright, but I don't think action/combat games are really my thing. Platforming and RPGs seem to be my thing. I might give Bayonetta a try in the future. :p
Dude, I like Supernatural stuff too. Supernatural is literally one of my favorite shows ever. :high What do you admire so much about Shanoa and Bayonetta?
Also, you might not like to hear this but... I'm not finding Castlevania: OoE fun. I mean, so far, I've been dying a lot so that doesn't help but... I can't say it's been really fun either. I mean, it doesn't make me want to keep playing.
I hear Okami is literally one of the best games the PS2 has to offer. You think that's true?
I still think PoR is probably the best portable Castlevania. I think the two player main characters and the three extra modes make for great replay value. Decent story and characters too. But I've always have a soft spot for Soma since AoS is what got me into the series. It was nice to finally play Dawn. I'm honoring Soma by using him as my set for a while. :>
Is Albus mode fun? : O There was one very incomplete thing about DoS which will always annoy me I want to talk about if you don't mind spoilers. :B

Dude, you got Skype? : O

      Edward Cullen
I'm not sure I like the Vampire Killer origin story though. Not sure if I liked the origin of Dracula either tbph. :I But the rebooted series has one of the weirdest plots I've heard in a while though...
Yeah, it felt like Simon's Quest all over again. I just used a guide to figure that one out. @___@ But Dawn isn't bad. It was just a bit confusing what you had to do at times though. There's this one really weird section in the lower left part of the map where you had to do a certain combo in order to advance. If you played DoS, you'll know what I mean. It was kinda like the bat echo thing in SotN.
That's a lot more than I have. :lmao My PS2 is over a decade old and it still works. : O
Rondo of Blood seems pretty fun. : O Speedruns aren't worth it. The amount of time it takes to make the speed run far exceeds the time it takes beating it normally in a longplay.
Well, it has SotN too. If nothing else, it might be worth it just for SotN. It's a bit altered though since it includes RoB-style Maria as a bonus character after you beat the game (she plays like her PoR-self, I think?). I heard her Japanese Saturn version of Maria was quite boring. You don't have a PSP though, right? : O

You can? Aren't a lot of games digital or something now? Or at least part digital after you install it on your console or something? And I don't think you can copy game data anymore. I miss the days where you could exchange data via memory cards. This is like Pokemon... (those games always tried to squeeze every penny out of you and they were cryptic at times)
All I did in the older days was share games. You'll be surprised at how many people play the same exact games so sharing games made sense. Why pay when all your friends play the same exact thing that can be shared? You didn't even have to worry about data since they used memory cards. And Nintendo likes sharing? LULZ No. Look at Pokemon. Each game only has one save file. Let's not pretend it would take too much data to have multiple save files. :hurr
Mega Man isn't as fun as Ninja Gaiden or Castlevania I/III though. :catblush Yeah, I suppose I will in the future. The games (save 1 which I only beat using the damage glitch) aren't too hard. Plus, I don't like leaving things unfinished. :ippy
Well, I think most of the FFs I've played were quite good. It's definitely one of my favorite series. GTA and Pokemon are up there too. You want to play all of the original numbered single-player Final Fantasys? @__@ Let's see... that's 12 so far, I think (since 11 and 14 were MMPORPGs)?
I'm not replaying the game from start to finish though. Too much time investment. I usually prefer playing something new to replaying the same old stuff. : O
I've played DMC3:Special Edition. I can't say I was in love with it. It was just OK for me. It was a bit difficult tbph. Nothing special. DMC1 would be an outdated version of that. And I heard MGS1 didn't have a first person view when shooting... >.<
I really like Onimusha for whatever reasons. Maybe it's cause I'm Asian but I always liked samurais. XD Yeah, I heard Onimusha described as Resident Evil: Japanese style. lulz

AoS is pretty fun. Grinding for souls can be annoying though. The extra mode after you beat the game is pretty fun too. Should be kinda obvious who the extra mode character is. :p
Eh, I don't think I'm gonna play it immediately. I'll let DoS digest for a little bit. :lmao

The one I mentioned is really old. It's for the original game boy. I think there were a few more non-canon ones before they really got into making the plot cohesive together. I guess that also started cause of SotN. In the one I mentioned with Sonia Belmont, it's implied that Trevor/Ralph is Alucard's son. :B
Well, you can check it out on Youtube. The background is pretty repetitive though so it's easy to get lost. Speaking of which, I got lost many times in Dawn of Sorrow. I played it mostly blind and unless you remember certain things well, it's tough to remember where you're suppose to backtrack after getting certain items... I had to look it up a few times... @__@
HoD was tedious. The two castles were just too similar so it felt like a chore to get a full map. All that backtracking... :angry
Where do you even find demos for older games? I figure you might as well just check out Youtube let's plays. It's as close as you're gonna get to playing the game without playing it. :lmao
Do you even have all the systems? : O I would imagine if you really want them all... the original Rondo of Blood is probably the toughest one to get (expensive). It's an unlockable on the PSP remake though so I wouldn't do it personally (even if I had the money).
Well, I only have old systems (nothing past NDS). My hardcore gaming days are over so I just play old games now and then when I really want to. I really don't like the DLC these days. In the older days, you buy the disc, you get everything on the disc. In the past, I just borrowed the disc from friends. I don't think you can really do that these days though since most games have codes and stuff.
I've only played original Mega Man games on the NES. I've beaten them all save 6. After 2, they were all pretty much the same... I guess I still want to beat 6 though...

On the plus side for FFX, at least I beat the "original" game. Extras are just a way to squeeze more money from people IMO. :B Besides, beating the extra bosses just means grinding... :p I just the only game I want to beat now is FFVII. I've never beaten it despite spending many hours on it... >.< I gotta finish up Julius mode in DoS. :> I wonder if I should play OoE...
Eh, they'll always release another remake if they feel they can make more money so I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Maybe I should play the original DMC for the PS2. :p And I always wanted to beat the original Onimusha for the PS2. It feels incomplete that I played 2 and 3 but never played 1... :x

I see. They took out a few games out of the canon before. : O They also took out the one with Sonia Belmont. CotM was pretty tough. I died many times and it was kinda frustrating at times. :I HoD is pretty repetitive because of how the level design is. It's also kinda boring you only get a whip and that's all. :B It wasn't all that great tbph.

Well, almost done with Dawn of Sorrow. It's been pretty fun. Got 100 percent map today. :p Now I gotta grind for souls. CV2 is pretty boring. The fighting isn't as nice as the other games and the adventure is confusing and somewhat lackluster. I kinda want to play LoI but... IDK if I like 3D Castlevanias... Anyways, you should check out more games if you want to. : O I do prefer original copies too. Although I was kinda upset FFX's original release didn't have the extra bosses. I felt kinda robbed. :B
    21. Edward Cullen
      Edward Cullen
Really? How so? I guess I'll find out when I play it, I guess. Is the plot canon?
I see. So it's not like SotN which was just as easy as it gets. CotM was pretty tough. DX HoD was a bit boring tbph. All that backtracking... And the save rooms were all scattered over the place and the enemies were relentless.

AoS is pretty easy. It's definitely fun because of the soul system. :D
Well, Castlevania 2 was pretty boring. I've never played the original GB Castlevania games. Castlevania 1 is fun but nothing special. Castlevania 3 is great. Too bad DoS screwed up Julius mode because there was no Grant-style character. :<
I haven't played any 3D Castlevania games though... : O All of them were 2D. Most people seem to agree something happens that makes 3D Castlevania games not as memorable...
    22. Edward Cullen

OH! That's why she looked familair. : O

I heard OoE was hard though. @__@ I gotta beat DoS before I move on to OoE. PoR was excellent though. It was my first DS Castlevania and it may be the best Metroid-vania I've played. Perhaps even better than SotN since it had 3 different gameplay modes after you beat the main game. : O

Oh no, no no no. Giving ownership is a large transition. That's a last resort. Right now, I'm trying to help FC get back on its feet. Of course, I have no quarrels if you were thinking about it, but I understand that you wouldn't want to.

I'd also appreciate it if you added me to the FC.
    29. Zeno
      Zeno
Well for starters, we should try to actively recruit people, and maybe make the FC a little more lively. Unfortunately, it's been years(?) since Mihawk himself made an appearance, so there isn't much on-topic stuff to talk about. I think we should start a collection of manga colorings of all his appearances.
    30. Zeno

Mihawk FC doesn't look too active. Need some help? :wink
