It would be really awesome if it was the kind of red herring where Naruto does become the Hokage only to realize how it is not what he wanted, not at all what he expected, and the position sucks his life away OR he gives it to Sasuke because he believes in him and trusts him (actually, he could be doing it for selfish reasons that he doesnt want Sasuke to leave on his own again and it would mean Naruto gets to keep Sasuke for himself).

With Sasuke, Kishimoto has either fallen off the cliff of moral ambiguity OR is intentionally creating a "villain" that is more righteous then the actual protag (at least in the sense of why Nardo wants to be Hokage).

What do you think of mine? I'd change Sasuke's dialogue but he would get his way with the system (after having a trust therapy session a.k.a. "friendship" TnJ from Naruto)
