We are now at the end of 2019. It is time to go back and think. Think seriously what the series has done the past 50 weeks . Year kicked off with something called Remedial course act right after the dragged out "mafia" arc with boring training stuff, yeah Wack. Let's not keep stuck on the bad parts though, move on. Then we had the short chaps about Aoyama. The most interesting part of the year came from the hype about Aoyama being hyped as the traitor "but it was a troll, or wasnt it?" Those chapters were cool. Just there was nowhere near enough on it. Gentle criminal arc So then we had some kind of concert or some shit like that along with that Eri child there and a pun on gentleman thieves that was the main attraction that was fleshed out. Gentle was a letdown after the initial hype, I seriously thought he'd be like Kaito Kid or Lupin or something- no, just ended up being an old fart with a flashback and he was done after catching those hands from Midoriya like he was a Naruto villain. Friggin' lame also considering how people say the action was great when in reality it was mediocre and not a standout in the slightest. Endeavor arc Then the so-called main course of the year. The arc started off with the showcase of top ranked heroes in MhA verse. Right after Endevour met up with a monster that serious All Might could finger flick and then ended up getting his ass handed to him. Endevour got help from this second most important character of this arc known as Hawk or whatever and then barely beat this noumu. Everyone hyped up the Endeavour shit even though his feats were crap as he barely cut buildings in half and we learned that the blue flame villain dude has stronger flames than him and he could casually lit up city blocks. Not feeling it, how is this fodder #1 hero again if first year students are more impressive than him? Then we head off to see the origin story of One for All. Some kind of plot device moment. It was aight. Though AfO doesn't even seem that important to the current storyline, he just wants the ash guy to take over him. This arc was probably done to hype up the movie, give fans something OfA related. The movie from the sounds of it was mediocre shounen flick but ill never watch it so can't comment on it more than that. And then like past 18 chapters been this new arc, idk what it is but it's been boring as shit. Chapter 200 hype with that boobs girl left everyone hanging huh, mushroom girl was lame, Todoroki getting the L makes no sense in the power scale. Some cool art with the brainwashing guy, Shinsou and explosion rival Bakugou, but that's it. "Everyone's costumes have changed a lot since we began the school." "Kacchan how is he so character developed?? so much!" Forcing these things down readers throat, I cringe. And now the year ends with Deku finally gaining his demon side Meliodas, Yusuke, his dark form Asta and his hollow Ichigo. His rage kyubi form Naruto .
