that was such a bad pun =p

yeah I quite like it, feels fairly cool. Hopefully he'll have a bit more variety to him than just that, I mean it opens up quite a few possibilities so we'll see :)

It seems a little Sasori-ish though...like a puppet or something. It's still pretty cool, and it seems like many people were right about Kakuzu being a medical ninja (we i don't know if stitchin up a comrade counts, but still)

I don't like Kakuzu's fighting style. It's kind of weird. Reminding me of Goldorak and his flying punch. I'm disappointed. I thought he got some awesome jutsus since I saw his hand turning to black when he fucked up the temple's door.

Kakuzu ! Show me some interesting Jutsus Bastard ! Not some zombie-ish things...

This is just the tip of the iceburg and already it's cool. Kakuzu needed more then just super strength.

I liked him stitching up Hidan but the extending hands I thought was a bit weak and been done to death. It would be neat if Kakuza could use the stitching to pierce and tie his opponents up so as to keep them close to him while he pummels them with his massive strength.

If that's all he can do, he fails. It's interesting but nothing massive.

Actually his hands aren't really the "standard" kind of extendable. Most extendable arms are simply launched with some kind of wire or other long means of connection. Kakuzu's hands seems like they're connected with the same thing as he used to stitch Hidan's head with.

In fact, it seems like he can control these independently of his hands as shown on page 10. He uses the hands to grab their necks and the black wires to hold their hands and weapons back.

I'd agree, it was a bit of a silly thing to have his hands shoot off like that, rather cheesy. Hopefully he'll do some other cool stuff soon.

Did Kakuzu smack Asuma with Hidan's head?

By the way, Kakuzu using his hand like that isn't even a jutsu or a "fighting style." It's similar to how Oro stretches nothing fancy just straight taijutsu.

Hidan/Kakuzu did turn out to be the Dracula/Frankenstein of Akatsuki.

Ya - what Kakuzu did here was about as impressive as Sasori showing us the tail on his Hiruko puppet when he fought Kankuro. This is nothing, it's like the smallest fraction of his fighting style.

Allllllthough, having extendable limbs is nice if he can still retain his super strength while he launches them. It'd be like a Tsunade punch that could come at you from a distance.

Kakuzu has me fairly well intrigued at this point, there's probably soooo much more to him than what we realize.

I think the "wires" in Kakuzu's arms may be muscle fibers or blood vessels that he can control.

And I don't think that Kakuzu and Hidan are one-trick ponies. To get into Akatsuki, you have to do better than one voodoo technique, and Mazinger arms.

Ya, have to agree, well partly anyways.

I think Hidan has shown most of what he can do - I think he is a fairly one trick pony like Deidara, however, Hidan has yet to show his "#18" or "puppet army" - he most likely still has one big trump card attack that he hasn't played yet and will be held in reserve until a later fight

Kakuzu, on the other hand, I think has shown about as much at this point as Sasori showed in his battle with Kankuro. Jack squat. Kishi is just teasing us with him, we haven't gotten anywhere near being able to put his full fighting style together yet.
