Check that out.
Can't it says leech
I see nothing there. Which fight are you talking about?
Hold up...I'll upload it through ImageShack. One sec. :sweat
Beat me to it.
Lol yeah after I realized it said hotlinking I knew all I had to do was paste the shortcut directly in my browser. And Since I know not everyone would do that I decided to upload it for everyone.
Zomg People Punching Other
We All Know The Cowboy Bebop Movie Was The First Movie To Ever Feature A Fistfight.
That's pretty interesting. One of the animators or choreographers must've been a Bebop fan.
dam naruto creators. the bebop movie is a great movie to me and if you wanna copy off of it, go to hell. i think that was just plain laziness from the staff, or to see how much they could get away with.
Cant you see its the exact same sequence....
Hmm...I've been informed that they both copied off Bruce Lee movies...
really? whatever, never really got into bruce lee anyway.
Well, bruce did change martial arts film making forever, so it is understandable that so many things that copy form him. Spike's fighting style is very similar to Lee's (although I'm sure most of you knew that already) But yeh, this sequence does seem like one that might be in one of Lee's films. Oh well, practically nothing is completely original nowadays, but it's all awsome anyway
its just that sequence...and in animation this days may exist generic sequences to make the job easier, we dont know
hmm it dont really bother me that its the same sequence. i would never really have taken any noice. alot of fighting in movies nowadays are all the same...
Interesting that each frame was exactly the same, and in the same sequence.
Whoever storyboarded the scene obviously used that as a reference if those those frames shown in the proper sequence.
Does anyone know if they are shown in the correct sequence of the anime, or did someone edit the sequence to the two seperate scenes match?
Spike's style = Jeet Kune Do. Which was the fighting method developed by Bruce Lee. Naruto stole a CB scene that stole from Bruce Lee. At least the stealing was tasteful.
edit: They both are in the same sequence by the way. No changes.
No surprise there.
Someone already posted that in their sig or in another thread
It's not stealing, it's a tribute. One is a tribute to Bruce Lee, the other is either a tribute to Bruce Lee or to Cowboy Bebop. Simple.
Meh not everyone would notice such a thing. While it is interesting it's not really all that important.
Perhaps Neji knows Jeet Kune Do?
But which came first? CB the movie or Neji vs Naruto?
XD It's still one of my favorite scenes regardless if it was copied from someone else. Neji made it look cool 8D (as well as Spike, etc).
Geez people, its a fighting scene, all fighting scenes are bound to have similiar squences. I mean theres so many frames in every animation.
I bet you if you watch the episode of the 2 anime, you will see that the timing is totally different. Soon ya all will start complaining why all the sword fights are the same or why sword slashing leaves the same wounds/marks.
Have any of you seen racing? If you have, sometime they will show 2 different drivers dirving the exact same way, in the exact same path. they combine clips and overlap them to show exactly how precices the 2 drivers were.
Does that mean that 1 driver copied the other one? No it means that 1 of the drivers for a particular race in a particual period in time, drove the same as another driver. thats all.
Agreed not like the whole fight was alike, punch to punch.
Yeah, sorry but it was pretty much the same, even if it wasn't exactly frame by frame.
That's very interesting indeed. Good eye to whoever found that out first
Where did the complaining about copying come from? I thought it was just supposed to be kind of funny. It wouldn't take any more or less work to just make random punches, so it's not exactly lazieness, but the fact that the hand and body positions are exactly the same, I doubt its mearly a random likeness. Way to go, Naruto team, it was a pretty cool fight to copy.
No need to get mad about any copying untill we see a shinobi with a gun and a shinobi with a sword fight it out inside a church, and the gun nin getting thrown out of a stained glass window....though that would be pretty sweet too. Never mind then, lets just not get mad about copying at all
