Title says it all. I finished my shonen craze since BNHA finished s2 and black clover is just.. black clover.
This is intended as a very broad topic to get as many suggestions.
I will even take symbolism in this field (NGA I am looking at you.)

Philosophical/Spiritual in what way really? Just really broad sense?

I watched Koe no Katachi the other day, it's an anime movie with a depression/suicide/bullying theme to it, was pretty good. Well that's all that comes to mind right now that probably fits in the philosophical unless you mean something specific.

I suppose the obvious choice would be Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, but who the fuck hasn't seen that masterpiece...

if you're into sol/drama and not just action then these pretty much fit philosophical+spiritual theme you're looking for

    Mushishi
    Haibane Renmei
    Kino's Journey
    Your Name

If you need some action then I would rec these

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
Kara no Kyoukai 5 (you gotta get past the other movies for this I guess)

If you are able to withstand ultraviolence ... Shigurui -manga is better-...
Maybe Rahxephon, Cowboy Bebop, GUNNM, Oyasumi Punpun, and Utena.

That kind of manga doesn't tend to get adapted into anime. If you're okay with reading manga instead, I'd go for some Mori Kouji stuff. (Holyland, Destroy and Revolution, Suicide Island). Although the last one gets really dark at times.
Maybe Monster if you don't want an action series.

I did like the way it dealt with society and religion in an increasingly technological world. I remember one episode was about a man from a Buddhist who was dying. He wanted to download his brain into a machine but his parents felt that that would be going against their religion as suffering is necessary for enlightenment.
To give it credit, it didn't ridicule or disrespect the roboticists or the buddhists. And in reality it was about a family who were motivated by a desire to love each other even though they disagreed. Ghost in the Shell often placed more importance on letting the audience keep an open mind than it did on writing a purely enjoyable or cathartic story. Which is quite special in anime.

I recently watched Time of Eve
It's set in the near future where androids have become apart of daily life, but aren't trusted by the general public. Interesting watch and it's a short series, only 6 episodes. Definitely worth a watch.

Revolutionary Girl Utena is a fantastic coming-of-age. Watch The Adolescence of Utena once you're done with the original series.
