It's a rumor I'm seeing going around the internet. It might not really be true. But it wouldn't be the first time I see a very appreciated author waste something so major. Or forgetting something altogether. Like how Toriyama forgot Maj elements in his series.

Anyway, for topics like this, it's better to pose the title as a question, and then put forth your reasons. Something like "Has Horikoshi Forgotten About The Traitor Subplot?!" And then leaving your OP as is. Using "apparently" doesn't convey what you're talking about at all. "Apparently" insinuates that there's some kind of evidence, something tangible or verifiable, something that a person knows or can see. If you were basing your thread on a rumor, you shouldn't have used that word unless you were talking about the existence of the rumors, not the truthfulness in them. Something like "Apparently, There Are Rumors That Horikoshi Forgot The Traitor Subplot!"

Maybe if it was a rumor from, say, a former assistant of Horikoshi's that said something that can be construed as Horikoshi forgetting the subplot, then using "apparently" would have fit perfectly.

Not trying to bag on you, but it has to be pointed out why the confusion happened, and that's why people poked fun.

one way or another, he is dragging it to hell.. like the whole "Is Dabi Endeavors son?" thing.

I hope he is going to put an end to these in the next arc.

Tbh he’s been dragging this plot point. I wouldn’t even have minded it if we made at least some progress but it’s been like 2 years and we’re still no closer to finding who the traitor is.

if thats true, Im disappointed in Hori.. its not something insignificant.

I wonder if nobody around him reads his manga and ask him about things every now and then, or just say things like "man, I wonder who you're gonna make the traitor".. he lives in a vacuum with no internet?

I hope his editor leaves some notes on his fridge after that time to time... "dont forget deku inherited OFA".. "Dabi - Endeavor connection is still not revealed".. "If you go to the toilet, dont forget to pull down your pants before"

ok then.. I dont see the reason for it to be more or less credible cause its written by anonymous, I mean if its a random username it'd be any better?

I dont know how these works but I doubt anyone is giving their real name and street address and scan of their ID card attached.

I doubt that Hori has forgotten. Perhaps he will return to it when he goes further into the Hawks/LoV plot line. I can see it being connected since Hawks is there to infiltrate and gather info.

because if horikoshi was at a panel we'd know. When he was at SDCC it was first announced it'd happen and we were told every question from the interview

Just thinking about it rationally will lead one to eliminating that particular possibility. :quite

Tbf it rarely ever gets brought up or focused on. It's been years and were no closer to finding out anything and we have pretty much nothing to go on but wild speculation. Forget about horikoshi at this point the fans might forget about it smh.

Guys, come on, give Hori some credit here. He's had things pretty well structured for the most part, only seeming to slip a bit pacing wise recently and with the overhaul arc. But he seems on top of things for the most part.

Also, keep in mind we're only still in the 1st year. We literally have 2 more school years to go. We're not that far in yet.

I don't think he has forgotten it because we know for a fact that Hori follows what overseas fans comments/theorises about the series, and traitor theories is something that comes up alot. So, I'm sure he must still have it in the back of his mind.

What would be disappointing is if Hori says, "oh, the traitor plot was resolved ages ago, it was Toga in disguise" or something.

if we ever found at who the traitor was what good would that do at this point in the manga? They'd just be there in some form of dramatic irony for the viewer. It would eventually wear off its impact.

Well a traitor being revealed would completely change the manga and plot.

If it's revealed to the public that one of the students there is a snake and UA just let them into their wings, that school is getting shut down.
