I was introduced to the show through the dub, so that's what I prefer to watch. Though I have seen the sub of the first season too and enjoyed it.

Sub, don't really like any of the dub voices. All Might sounds to much like Armstrong for my liking.

Both. If they had maintained the same-week simuldub, I probably would have stayed excusively with that.

Subbed, I find the dub very underwhelming aside from All Might.

All For One was especially bad considering how fucking good his sub voice was.

Dubbed. With the whole Superhero theme I just think English fits better. I think the dub also has a superb Deku who really nails his shy and nervous persona.

I think they are both good for different reasons. The Japanese Dub sounds pretty satanic(Hi there, Blackbeard!) which All for One naturally is, but the English voice sounds softer in a way that helps sell his image as the good daddy he keeps showing to Shigaraki and the charisma he supposedly has when it comes to acquiring followers.

His sub voice was more intimidating, especially when he was laughing and taunting All Might about Nana Shimura and I just felt it was an all around better performance. He's not as bad as Deku's English voice which I find to be annoying.

I think I like both equally, with a few exceptions. Sub Uraraka is too baby voiced, while dub Uraraka is just right.

Not watching but if I did. It’d be Subbed. The only dubbed anime I’ve watched is Bebop and Trigun. Everything else sounds laughbaly corny.

Literally started watching the dubbed anime yesterday.

Deku and Bakugou's voices don't match:( Bakugou's voice should have more range between his soft spoken dialogue and his outbursts. And Deku's voice should be like a women's because that's all I can imagine from that estrogen container girly boy. All Might is great tho.

Sub is the standard for me when watching anime and given the choice. I only ever watched a dub when it was shown on tv as a kid.

Even if someone else is trying to show me an anime and it is the dub version, I would ask for the sub instead.

Both sound good but I always prefer dub because I'd rather watch the show than read captions. And I do like the MHA dub. All Might and Deku are perfect, imo.

Where Kiba shows up for a cameo every 25 episodes? Sounds good to me.:)

I'm fine with sub, especially because it comes out first, but if the sima-cast was still a thing I'd opt dub. Both are great to me btw, each having strengths and weaknesses that come with adapting source material and both have interesting and unique takes on dialogue and scenes.

How good is the anime compared to the manga?

Its makes a lot of scenes better in my opinion, it also has the time and liberty to expand on somethings. During the sports festival tournament fights that were literally only given a couple panels at least had fights a few minutes long. I don't think it hits quite so many things out of the park as Hori takes advantage of the manga medium in ways anime can't, but the anime takes advantage of the animated medium in way the manga can't. Its a nice balance.
