    Does being ten years younger make you any better? Because The Mars Volta are nothing to write home about.

    I guess this EP should let me know.

    I'm gonna disagree.
    I think the Mars Volta are probably the most creative and talented band of the last 15 or so years (i'm stopping at 15 because Slint was still around in 1991). Although their music may not be for everyone, I, and many others, feel that all of their albums are absolutely mind blowing.

    TMV rules. They play honest to god good music with honest to god passion. What else could anyone possibly want? I can understand if they werent everyone's sorta thing, but you gotta admit they are are exptionally talented and imaginative blokes

    and Im really liking this. Awakening of The Two Sons has me sold (thoughthe vocals will take abit to get used to) . The blend of prog rock and south american tunes always wins. D/ling the songs now

    I'm openly not a fan of TMV, though I admit they are talented, and so far, Atlas of ID are......interesting.
