Or even better retconning The Phoenix force in the rebooted trilogy. Apocalypse showed Jean already had the power yet here she gains it in space?

This is tragic, but apparently the the dark phoenix writer/director, who also wrote X3, is passionate about the dark phoenix storyline. Apparently he was the one who fought for it being the central plot in x3 when the studio wanted to focus on the cure.

It sounds like he's pushed to adapt his favorite storyline twice and ruined it twice. :gglife

You're right, you shouldn't be complaining in front of a group of oversensible nerds.

You’re really gonna be saying that after those 5 pages of whining you did about Thor?

Oh yes, I shouldn't go offend the feelings of nerds in some random internet page with my whining. Poor people!

Also, when MiB bombs (or at least not be as successful, which is what will happen), will people start realising that turning Thor into a joke actually damaged Chris Hemsworth's career?

So pointing out your unnecessary bitching means we’re sensitive? Whatever helps keep you “sane”, Mabel.

Of course it is. Heck, people complain and whine about stuff all the time. It's obvious that people are too invested in Endgame to the point that insulting it harms them on a personal level and even start hurling insults at others. They can't stand their precious film get attacked, especially with legitimate faults like mistreating characters or being undeservedly and ridiculously long.

It hurts his soul when Marvel buries Damaged Comics in every department.

If MiB bombs its because of Tessa Thompson and/or the script :DankPepe

I see he also wrote and produced the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot. :facepalm

Why is he still working? The closest this guy should be allowed to Marvel on film is scooping popcorn at the theater.

I don't know, but I get the idea a lot of screenwriters work as 'fixers' for bad screenplays. Or they're people the studios hire when they want to shoehorn things into movies. So maybe he's actually a talented writer despite the bad movies.

IF you've seen chernobyl, it's great. Yet check out the chernobyl showrunner's cv,

    huntsman winter's war
    hangover part 3
    scary movie 3 and 4
    identity thief

The only explanation is that this guy is a for hire goon who finally got control of a passion project. Pre-chernobyl, tThe game of thrones guys even have an anecdote about turning to him for help with their GoT pilot, so he's probably a talented guy despite the terrible movies.

    That's a good point.

We'll remember that at the time of being put in charge of the $281-million-budget Lord of the Rings trilogy, Peter Jackson's most noteworthy credit was as director of Braindead (1992), which had a budget of $3 million.

As of yesterday it was still playing in 2121 theaters in the US, an average of 42 per state.

That works out to 2/3 of counties still containing at least one theater playing Endgame.
