Jiraiya's base arsenal is too versatile for Asura Path to keep up really.
With no shared vision, he's getting feinted and killed with Rasengan.
Jiraiya mid diffs.
With summons and his arsenal asura path on its own will be no problemo. Aside from deva the paths are way overrated imo.
Animal is pretty strong on its own as well to be honest.
Base Jiraiya low diffs, he's strong enough to one-shot Konan and I wouldn't say Asura is on a different level than her.
Asura gets overwhelmed by toad ninjutsu without trouble.
What would you rank it on its own?
Shurado destroys him. He already crushed SM Jiraiya on two occasions, and summons get blasted by cannons and rockets.
Animal Path almost killed base Jiraiya by itself, but that was solely because Jiraiya grossly overrated what that path was capable of and took a giant risk entering Sage Mode in the middle of combat. Had Jiraiya known about Pain’s limitations (like he does in this thread), he should have been able to dispatch any single path sans Tendō without senjutsu.
He's lowkage imo.
Multi-headed dog + Chameleon combo is troublesome to deal with for most non-sensor characters around that level, let alone the fact that he has like 5 other summons with super-human strength to choose from other than the dog.
I can see him defeating Mifune, Old Hanzo and Mei off top of my head given location doesn't counter his fighting style.
Aside from Animal yeah Id agree
The paths are really just Kage level stat sticks at best outside of that
Does asura get a boost from Nagato 100% focus ???
If so then he beats j man
w/ full intel, he summons, makes a clone & all 3 shoot oil to ground asura, then light the BBQ.
Injured base Jiraiya already gave all six paths a tough fight.
Ashura's fodder misslies were dodged by Kakashi. His lasers are cool but no reason why Jiraiya can't avoid it/block it.
Jiraiya is smarter, more experienced, and has a much wider arsenal.
What's Ashura's answer for things like Gamayu endan ?
Jman easily. Too many ways to end this
She can't sense him when he goes invisible and I don't see her effectively countering 3+ Summons at a time.
He can't sense her when she busts out a hidden mist jutsu... She's can deal with with his summons especially the chameleon with acidic mist, lava styles, fire styles and maybe some water styles
Base Jiraya wins obviously, Shurado is not so fast, not so skilled in Taijutsu, his physical strengh is certainly high but not something impossible to handle, the same goes for his durability, furtheremore Jiraya is way more versatile, experienced, intelligent and he can use strong summons to support him.
Overall, I simply fail to see how he can possibly lose to some elite Jonin folk.
He doesn't need to sense her, the Summons are big enough to fill out the entire area of the mist.
Not if she can't locate him.
The summons can be beat with yoton and acid mist
But that's the point of the mist.. Its to locate and burn its summon with acid
Sure, she takes down few Summons, but eventually she's getting hit before she can kill all.
I can see who travelled at a pretty high speed hitting her while she's occupied with the melee-ranged Summons.
What? How does Mist help her locate the chameleon?
She uses acidic mist on the summons... I don't see any of them tanking it... The bird is fast I agree but if it flies into the mist capable of melting a sussanoo it gets desummoned pretty fast.
She deals with the chameleon by using her acidic mist to cover a large area... The chameleon will react if the mist touches it... If it does not, then she moves to use the mist on another area till she finds it. Don't forget that location really matters.. If its a field its only a matter of time before she finds it
The mist is just a mist, even if it's acidic.
She either keeps blowing new mist and runs through her chakra quickly, or the Summons smash the ground and the wind blows it away.
It's not as effective in big locations.
Yes, that's why I said neutral location.
Yeah I guess you have a point
