I am looking for something like Age of empires only that i do not like AOE 3 (not really a fan of American history)

    the things I'm looking for
    -a lot of ages
    -good graphics
-AOE like not risk like but i like a mix of both tho like LOTR or axis and allies
-a huge choice of units, buildings etc
    Spoiler:
    -A rubber ducky....O_O

so if you would be so kind and recomend some games it would be nice

Empire earth 2. If i remember it correctly you start as cavemen and "evolve" through most stages in history to finally be in a sopace age and fight with starwars like ships.

They should be pretty good. It's a relativelly new game so i'm fairly sure it would look ok. You could just wach a vid of it at IGN or somwere :p.

Actually, you should try out Galactic Civilizations II. They've also recently released an expansion pack, Dark Avatar, that comes bundled in with the game.

Here's the blog of a reviewer from PC Gamer. .

After you read his blog that details the events of one of his games, you should be able to get a fairly good idea of how it'll gel with you.

It doesn't really cover many ages, but Fire Emblem was really nice and strategic. Also, the fight-animations were really nice. (Game Cube)

    Lololol.
    Roflroflrofl.
    WTF are you talking about?!
R:TW is the worst in the series.
(Despite being the funnest. But this is because it has the worst AI ever. Eveeeer. The graphics [Still bad] are vast improvements over the previous 2 games, and the multiplayer/battlr modes are quite fun, if not unbalanced.)
    Get Medieval II: Total War.
Your eyes and fun sensors will thank you.

You see, that is a good game, but that's kinda not of the type of the game the TC asked of. That plays differently.
