which clients are the fastest? i used Azureus, but then for some reason it stopped working so i switched to Bitcomet, which is kind of slow.

I also used to use Torrentstorm, before it shut down. I liked it too :(

and anyone know any good p2p programs? kazaa has lots of spyware, xolox didn't work the last time i installed it (1-2 weeks ago), so i'm wondering if anyone knows better ones? preferably fast ones.

Just a question, whenever I try to download Bittorrent, it just sits there and the download page does nothing. What's happening?

the amount im receiving grows faster than be4 i closed some firewall ports down, luckely it was on another PC and the netwerk gates we're closed so no harm done, still a risk though. .

the amount of spyware and viruses or bittorrent rate? Either way, I agree, yeah... that certainly is a risk, but the speed increase is good

Tip: Set your upload speed to about 75% of your avarage speed, if you set it to unlimited (the default in most BT clients) you will get slowers speeds.

I suppose if I had the calculations for download rate as a function of participation as a function of uploading, and the expected distribution of seeds, I could give you a number.

(As a good guideline, when you can, leave the bittorrent open.)

    -------------------
    Try a new client.
    -------------------

Now, I have a problem - I'm trying to get DB's 134 release, but I get "bad file info" or it stays as "waiting...." (depending on which client I use)
EDIT: Problem solved - I just tried again

....? no idead what you mean naruto sitro. do you mean where you can download bittorrent, the original?

    i believe that would be

and i don't think it's the fastest, gives me the impression that it's the slowest, and it's very unorginized, especially when you have more than 1 download at a time.

I'm using Bitcomet, which is working okay now, but i used Azureus before, and it was much better. too bad it doens't work for me anymore. might try it later, i guess.

Alright, damn the dl will take forever, I hate 56k. That's why I always use the quick reply and never the reg reply. It takes too long.

edit: tried yours rez. Well, I made it to 0.9% before I had to get off. Like 20 minutes and that's what I get. Almost 1%.

    Trouble w/ Dattebayo fansubs?

Just wondering if anyone else were having viewing trouble with Dattebayo's AVIs? I've been viewing the AnimeOne subbed episodes work fine, but Dattebayo's don't work for my. I do use a Mac, so maybe they use a codec I don't know about? Anyone know? (Was gonna ask on Dattebayo's site directly, but their feedback page stated that they wouldn't hear of any unworking files, basically.)

    Thanks

    J42

OCrime, if you are willing to take a risk, you can temporarily open ports on your computers to increase your speed. (See the button in the first post)

However, this comes with a risk, using it may cause you to.......

Sorry, I'm a n00b when it comes to Bittorent.

What does mean? Does this mean that I can't get that file anymore?

If that just now happened, trying waiting it out. If seen mine have an error message then get back on track.

If not, then try reloading the torrent. (Check to make sure it has seeds)
