Hey all, it's been a while since I posted here but I found some information about the "Cant Fear Your Own World," novel there's a lot of interesting information.

    It's as easy as 1-2-3.
    Spoiler:

Reveals of Can't fear your own world.

    Part 1:

    • Yhwach's corpse is the new Soul King. Squad Zero put a lot of barriers and seals into it and transported him to the Soul Palace. It is heavily implied that something similar happened to the old Soul King.

    • Yhwach is not gone for good and still has an influence over the world. Of course no one knows what actually happened between him and Kazui, why it happened and what the consequences of that will be

    • The general population doesn't know that the Soul King they are protecting or worshiping is now Yhwach. They were told that Squad Zero successfully protected the Soul King and that he never died.

    • Shunsui and Ichibee initially planned to make Ichigo the next Soul King. They would have cut him up. Shunsui didn't like it much, Ichibee didn't care. He only trained Ichigo for that in the first place and honestly didn't expect him to win. He joked that the only downside would be that it would be a bit boring if Ichigo could not speak for all eternity. That's also what the soul tickets were there for.

    • The reason he did not become the linchpin was, because Yhwach had decided to change his plans and absorb the Soul King after seeing Mimihagi out of fear that he could be devoured by his father. Ukitake's sacrifice and Yhwach's plans saved Ichigo.

    • The history and origins of Soul Society are all based on lies.

    • The actions of Squad Zero regarding the truth and the Soul King will be judged in ten (the epilogue) or 100 (when Soul Society is going to have 100 days without night thanks to Ichibee) years

    • The ancestors of the five noble families committed an original sin regarding the Spirit King and it is their will that Squad Zero obeys to, not the Spirit King. It's one of the reasons why Aizen was so angry at the end of Deicide. Shunsui himself hates the ancestors and Ichibee.

    • Squad Zero actually died, but was revived with the same trick as Ichibee. The reason for this is that they are kinda fused through the Oken with the Soul Palace.

    • Nel rescued Harribel, who was transported alongside the rest of Yhwach's castle to the Royal Realm. She couldn't be rescued because she was in Yhwach's throne room.

    • Kira is still a zombie and the events of the 13th Blade story actually happened

    • The relationship between Quincy and Shinigami will improve and enter a new age thanks to the death of both kings.

    • Lille survived the fight against Kira and the destruction of the Seretei and caused trouble for several days. Eventually the birds were removed from the Seretei. It's unknown what that means for him and what his ultimate status is.

    • Shuutara's invention was most likely the Shinigami uniform

    • Orihime's power has three limits: She can't heal someone who had mortal wounds for a long time, though the exact time frame is unknown, at least the duration of a night, was no problem for her. She can't revive someone whose body and Reiatsu are gone. And of course her mental will and stamina will affect how strong her healing powers are.

    • Kensei and Rose were actually dead. Mayuri's science is just that good. Though it took almost six months to revert these two back.

    • C46 has only few members left and did many reforms. Their leader is Nayura (from the Kira short story). Half of them were killed by Shaz Domino and many of the survivors resigned.

    • There is actually a council of nobles that is above C46

    • Ichigo got his powers back within a short time

    • Tosen knew the truth behind Soul Society, it's why he sided with Aizen in the first place

    • Komamura is still a wolf

    • Ryuken is financing Uryuu's studies, but beyond that their relationship and what happened to the dads after their sons got jobs is not known (from We do (knot) always love you).
    Part 2:

    • Hitsugaya became a captain two to seven years before the story

    • The Tsunayashiro family is the fourth member of the five grand noble families

    • Tosen's friend is called Kakyou. Her husband Tokinada was a minor member of the Tsunayashiro family and thus not punished by the law for his crime
    Part 3:

    • Hisagi got his motorbike back. Presumably Yamamoto couldn't keep it confiscated after his death.

    • Ginjou is an acquaintance of the Shiba family. He, Tsukishima and Giriko are living there as freeloaders.

    • They kept their clothes and weapons because of their ability to manipulate souls.

    • The death of Kaien and Isshin's disappearance were major contributions to the fall of the Shiba family

    • Tsukishima cannot create new people in memories. He can only insert himself and/or replace others.

    • Ginjou was innocent. A Shinigami was sent to assassinate him. That Shinigami killed all of Ginjou's friends and Ginjou killed him in a fit of rage. Finding out about that plus the truth behind the Shinigami badge led to him rebelling. He went to the Seretei during the final arc in order to know the truth. But thanks to the Kamikake Ukitake was dead and could not speak. Ginjou still doesn't know why someone would want to assassinate him. It's implied the order came from high above. Ukitake is a major suspect and Ginjou believes it was him, but so far there is no confirmation.
    Part 4:

    • Hanatora's brother Seinosuke is alive. He is medical attendant for the Great noble families

    • Shino (the female Shinigami substitute and partner of Yuki, that Ichigo saved in the beginning of the final arc) is the little sister/cousin of Ikkaku. Her full name is Shino Madarame. Her Zanpakto is a Naginata

    • Shino and Ikkaku lost their parents at a young age in the Rukongai. Because they were shifted from one family member to another, they actually don't know whether they are brother and sister or cousins. Ikkaku eventually decided to become a Shinigami and Shino followed him. He was immediately accepted into Squad 11. Shino had to go to the academy first until she was accepted into Squad 13. It's unknown how Yumichika fits into this.

    • The earthquakes that the death of the Soul King caused, led to the rise of several religious end-time sects. The founder of one rather popular one is lead by a woman of the name Michibane Aura.

    • Yukio became the boss of his company after six months and thanks to his experience with Ichigo in the final two arcs, he decided to use it to help humanity and make a better world. Yukio's company is also evolving into a feeding ground to gather Fullbringer from all over the world, starting with Riruka and Jackie.
    Part 5:

    • Rudborrn Chelute is alive.

    • He used to serve under Barragan, but is content with both Aizen's and Harribel's rule because they brought order and rules into Hueco Mundo. He feels indebted to them for that reason. He also has the big dream of creating a pan-Arrancar nation that governs all of Hueco Mundo. The sight of Grimmjow, Nel and Harribel working together left him rather emotional and made his heart cry in joy.

    • Loly and Menoly were degraded to become part of the Exequias. The three worked together with Orihime and co. probably and defeated the majority of the Jagdarmee, who either used guerilla tactics or suicide attacks.

    • During Harribel's absence the hidden Vasto Lorde came to the surface and tried to become the new ruler. Rudbonn did not participate in the throne games, but repeatedly asked Grimmjow to help maintain order. He refused to fight small fry, as he himself put it in.

    • Once Harribel and Grimmjow returned after the war was over, the Vasto Lorder went back to their own colonies, disappointed.

    • The events of Sprits are forever with you are referenced, making them canon.

    • Ruddbon learned from his fight with Rukia. He can now produce his branches underground to avoid them getting frozen. He also managed to increase the production rate significantly. He can produce thousands of Calaveras within seconds. He, like a Quincy absorbs Reishi in order to create the Calaveras. They also learned new tactics, like using their sheer numbers to create formations and figures, like tentacles.

    • Grimmjow became a better person. All of Hueco Mundo changed for the better actually.

    • Liltotto, Giselle and Bambietta are alive.

    • Bambietta just wants Giselle's blood. Nothing perverted, probably. The reason for Bambietta's fragmented speech is that her injuries are not quite healed. Giselle could use her blood to do that, but thinks Bambietta is cuter that way and delays the healing process. She can think clearly actually, but because of her injuries (most likely because Giselle bashed her head), her ability to think has been degraded.

    • They were rescued by Haschwalth's aide under Haschwalth's orders. Right after acquiring the Almighty, Haschwalth decides to order the evacuation and treatment of every Quincy outside the Schutzstaffel. This explains why Giselle's and Liltotto's bodies were not seen during Yhwach's fight with Ichigo and Orihime.

    • Many Quincy were saved by Haschwalth's aide. It's actually quite possible that some Sternritter are among them, like Bazz-B and BG9.

    • Haschwalth's aide believes that the Schutzstaffel is gone, though she doesn't know that Lille actually turned into birds.

    • The Wandenreich HQ is in the human world.

    • Whatever Haschwalth saw in the future changed him. He only described it as cruel. He willingly decided play both sides in order to balance the odds. He knew that Yhwach would sacrifice him, but Haschwalth saw it as a fitting punishment and sacrifice for his behavior. He knew that this would be his fate, but he went to the battlefield anyway. He wanted to fight Uryuu and see what drives him, for when it comes to Uryuu, Haschwalth is shaken with emotion.

    • Haschwalth's aide is stronger than some of the Sternritter, but does not posses a Schrift, because she only wants to serve Haschwalth, but not Yhwach. She is the strongest archer within the Wandenreich. It seems that she is now ruling over the Wandenreich.

    • Bambietta is still a zombie. She was never brainwashed or mind-controlled. Zombie Bambietta is the real Bambietta's personality. Behind her though facade is simply a meek and scarred little girl. Her encounter with Komamura deeply traumatized and she suffers from PTSD, so much that she forgets that she is already dead.

    • It's possible that Giselle is highly intelligent and could rival Mayuri. It's just that she is too lazy to actually bother using much strategy. She is also a social expert, able to easily read other people and know what buttons she has to push in order to provoke them (or in Bambietta's case to make her break down and cry)

    • The Glutton has more abilities. Liltotto can recover Reiryoku with her ability and like Aaroniero, she can actually use the abilities of the things she consumed. She can use the poison of Loly after she consumed part of her body. She combines Loly's poison with Licht Regen to create a rain of poison, which is just awesome. She also can use Pepe's Love and considered it using against Yhwach, but thought it would be useless.

    • Apparently how things taste depend on what Liltotto thinks of their personalities. At the very least there seems to be a connection between taste and personality. Pepe tasted disgusting. Ruddbon appeared for Liltotto as more tasty than the tasteless Calaveras. Loly tasted quite good and spicy.

    • Giselle actually got nicer. Just a little bit. She doesn't hurt Bambietta anymore. Though psychological domination is still fine for her. Liltotto outright refers her as an S-type. But Giselle truly doesn't understand why Liltotto would describe her as a sadist.

    • The power that Yhwach steals will return over time. Only exception is Vollständig.

    • Ryuken and Uryuu may be able to use Sklaverei. Every Sternritter can, but only in Vollständig.

    • Mayuri collected the dead bodies of several Sternritter. Confirmed so far are Meninas, Candice and NaNaNa.
    Part 6:

    • The nobles are living within their own city

    • Byakuya is not very popular with the general population. None of the current great nobles are like. Except Yoruichi. Everyone likes Yoruichi. The higher nobles in general are not very popular. Exceptions like the Omaedas exist.

    • Mayuri's Zanpakto Sex change device is canon.

    • Omaeda is a ladies man. Hisagi and Renji not so much.

    • Ukitake's exact involvement in the Ginjou incident is even unknown to Shunsui, but he is at least guilty of not interfering and just standing by.

    • The reputation of Squad 4 increased significantly thanks to their efforts during the war.

    • The reason for the fall of the Shiba family lies in the distant past. The Kaien and Isshin incidents were just the last straws.

    • Yoruichi was the one who decided Yuushiro should become her successor.

    • The noble families have an authority that is independent of Squad Zero and lies above them (even the Shiba retain that, as seen when Squad Zero had to ask for their permission to use the canon).

    • The Tsunayashiro family is the most important of the noble families.
    Part 7:

    • Mashiro and the girl with the glasses from the 12th division (the one who asked about the previous Nemus) are sisters.

    • Mayuri has reanimated the dead Sternritter. Outside of the three that were already mentioned, these are the Sternritter, whose bodies Mayuri could have possibly collected: Haschwalth, Bazz-B (if dead), BG9 (if dead), Cang Du, Askin, Gremmy, Nianzol

    • Arrancar get progressively stronger through battles

    • The Negar ruins (the place Orihime met up with Chad and the Arrancar between the invasions) are actually a man-made stone temple built in ancient times. It's unknown what happened to the ancient civilization that built the temple or who the god of Hueco Mundo was (it's most likely not Barragan though).

    • Soul Society is a fake world, a charade built upon lies, by the ancestors of the five noble families.

    • The Soul King was always trapped and deprived of his power since the very beginning.

    • The last time, the five great noble families met was 1000 years ago.

    • It's made more and more ambiguous if Yhwach is truly dead and if the Soul King before him was actually alive. Urahara and Aizen knew about that. Yoruichi did not.

    • Many people from the real world experience a crisis of faith once they realize that Soul Society isn't exactly paradise.

    • Hisagi is poor because Urahara overcharges the prices for fuel for his motorbike.

    • Tosen met Aizen for the first time shortly after Kakyou's funeral. He saved Tosen from the beatdown of Tokinada's guards.

The writer only got some hints here and there, therefore not everything is canon. There were a lot of things in his previous novel that didn't make sense or was incoherent with the manga.

Also it's nice to know what Ginjou's backstory was, although I hope it will be revealed in a different way if the anime ever comes back. Ukitake already dead? Wasn't Uki supposed to be illness free for at least one fight? It still seems unsolved now that we don't know who was behind it/:

The Bambietta part is just dumb as fck.

Man, if only Kubo cut down on the number of SR so that more of them could possess and show abilities like this in their fights.

I really wish we could have seen something like that happen. I remember most people were thinking that the Glutton would actually work like that.

You can't develop 26 characters so choices had to be made. Kubo chose for Gisselle and Bambietta as the main Femritters and I think he made the right choice. That's my opinion though. I think Gisselle was the most interesting character of them and second would be either Bambi or Liltotto. The others were just to fill the count

If I were Kubo I would have only made like 11 Stern Ritter.
    Haschwalth
    Uryu
    Lille
    Pernida
    Askin
    As Nodt
    Bazz-B
    Bambietta
    Giselle
    Liltotto
    BG9

I'm surprised that there wasn't more Quincified Arrancar used.

The major reason why people say the Stern Ritter felt short against the Espada were the amount of SR, but in truth there were as much if you count the Fracciones, where the majority of them were underdeveloped/annoying as well. My guess is that Kubo wanted to avoid the ranking system where people could know beforehand which SR was stronger. That's what killed some part of the Hueco Mundo arc for the readers at that time. Deep in their minds everyone just wanted to see the top 3 Espada already aside of Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. The Fracciones fights in FKT felt tiresome because everyone wanted to see the top 3 Espada fight. Kubo made the right choice to reveal the Elite Sternritter after all the others were already beaten. That's why he all treated them ''equally'' by using the letters of the alphabet with no real order aside of the A and B.

To me the main SR were
    Lille
    Gerard
    Pernida
    Askin
    Gremmy
    Quilge
    Äs Nodt
    Bazz B
    Bambietta
    Gisselle
    Mask

These got the right amount of screen time and had all their powers reveal and felt like actual characters.
(Not counting Haschwalth and Uryuu since they were the Gin and Tousen of this arc.)

The others can be categorized as ''Fracciones''

I don't know how I forgot about Quilge :hmm

Gerard kind of annoyed me I feel like his fight dragged on too much compared to the other Elites. Characters kept showing up and used new abilities but it still wasn't enough to put him down.

Yeah his character reminded me of Yammy. And in the end we didn't even get a real ''end'' to the fight because Kubo had to rush things and got him killed by Yhwach. I'm pretty sure we would've at least gotten Shinji's Bankai and possibly others too leading it to a bankai festival like I predicted at that time.

It wouldn't surprise me if Kubo had originally planned to use the Silver arrow(made by Ryuken from katagiri's hearth) to make Gerard mortal so the others could finish him off.

Noble family shit should've been in the manga in the form of another TBTP arc. No excuses for that. They're way too important to leave them out for these novels when they are the catalysts for pretty much everything Soul King, Soul Society, Aizen, Yhwach related.

It's the most important history of Bleach.

Either he was rushed and couldn't get to it, or he didn't want it to detract from "the perfect ending". How can you have a "perfect ending" when all this stuff about the Noble Houses is coming up?

The fact that "We Do Knot Always Love You" does not seem to convey any of the repercussions from "Cannot Fear Your Own World" almost implies that everything with the Nobles in this novel was kept under wraps, even when we know Yoruichi is likely privy to all of the events.

We can't really go that far in for the latter part. Let's just see how this novel plays out first.

But otherwise, this is a MASSIVE dump of info I really didn't think Kubo would spill out...it really sucks that the manga ended without a good chunk of this being in it.

The Bambietta part isn't really stupid to me but it's definitely something I like due to it making sense that she would carry herself like that. It also makes sense since she was clearly freaking out when Komamura was showing how little he feared death and there is some moments here and there where she's clearly in over her head in more ways than one.

Mayuri on the other hand reanimating a good chunk of the Sternritter...that's part is extremely odd to me. What's really the reason for it? Is it to have them as weapons like the Arrancar bodies he had before or what?

Yhwach's stolen powers returning back after awhile though...that actually makes Masaki's fate that much worse. Katagiri was fucked regardless due to her powers being the main thing keeping her alive but that truly means that Masaki could have easily lived if she wasn't facing Grand Fisher at the time.

And Ichigo's full power returning to him and Shunsui actually hating the fact that he would have to make Ichigo the Soul King on top of hacking off his limbs actually solves 3 things:
    1. Ichigo lost his Quincy and Hollow powers and failed to get them back

    2. How much did Shunsui really know and care for Ichigo to be okay with making him the Soul King

    3. Why was the Soul King limbless at all?

It does solve three things, but it also raises contradictions as well.

It was firmly established that the Auswahlen will result in the deaths of anyone affected by it, with the 'when' being a case-by-case basis. Yhwach said it himself and affirmed it: no Quincy outside of Uryu has ever survived long after being struck by Auswahlen. Unless Yhwach's death somehow erases the threat of death (since his soul fragments can no longer go back to him), then focusing on Stern Ritter surviving that we know were affected by Auswahlen seems almost pointless and contradictory. By all rights, Liltotto and Giselle should be dying soon.

Secondly, if the powers stolen just come back later on, then why did Yhwach leave Ichigo alive (outside of PIS) if Ichigo had the potential to recover the power he lost? Why the focus on Ichigo's Quincy and Hollow powers being taken away by Yhwach if it was not going to be permanent? Again, one could make sense of it if Yhwach's death allowed for Ichigo's powers to return back to him (given Yhwach is the one who stole them), but we haven't gotten any explanation like that, yet.

All we've gotten so far is "it just happens like that". And if it turns out that Liltotto and Giselle will not die because of Auswahlen "just because" (I'd prefer a scenario where Haschwalth's aide could have extracted the forming Still Silver mass to prevent death), and if it turns out that Mayuri is going to resurrect every Stern Ritter that left behind a body down in the Seireitei...

Then doesn't that just make everything feel "hollow"?

Ichigo had his Quincy and Hollow powers taken away from him by Yhwach, except it just so happens that they came back "on their own" and they were never truly lost after all.

Liltotto and Giselle were grievously wounded and left for dead, except it just so happens that Haschwalth ordered his aide to rescue them while we have no update on Bazz-B who could very well have been left to die at this rate.

All the other Stern Ritter struck by the Auswahlen in the Seireitei are confirmed dead, except it just so happens that Mayuri is going to resurrect them all with his science.

I love Narita as a writer and author (I love the Baccano series), but if I see just one more "Except it just so happens..." scenario that either reverses or completely nullifies something essential to the Final Arc, I may just throw a book at the wall.

Wait, didn't Lillotto and Giselle narrowly avoid getting hit by the main portion of Auswahlen? Because while they did lose their Volstandigt, they was not hit by the actual beam at all.

He didn't Auswahlen Ichigo remember? And secondly, he was going to reform the worlds to begin with on top of the fact that by his Almighty, he had absolutely nothing to worry about. If anything, Haschwaldt fucked him over by making his "premonition" come off as a nightmare.

They never got hit by Auswahlen, re-read the chapter. They got grazed by it at worst, but not to the extent of Robert or Bazz B.

Because Yhwach absorbed it, he didn't Auswahlen Ichigo.

We didn't see their corpses anywhere which was something people wondered.

Um, you forget he did that with Luppi, Charlotte and Currci right? That's par for the course at this point...

They were still affected by Auswahlen, which was how they had their Vollstandig stolen from them in the first place. Both NaNaNa and Bazz-B got hit point-blank, yet neither seemed any worse for wear than those two.

Perhaps, but it was arguably a much deeper "taking of power" than Auswahlen, considering he stripped both Ichigo's Quincy and Hollow powers from him, along with that whole dialogue of his powers "fading into white". I could only assume that the explanation for why they "came back" while the Stern Ritter permanently lost their Vollstandig would be because Ichigo doesn't have a Schrift to take, which is the source of the Vollstandig.

"Par for the course" doesn't necessarily mean it should be done. If all the Stern Ritter that left behind a body in the second invasion are revived by Mayuri, then it makes one wonder what meaning those battles and defeats had, and the effects of Auswahlen on them. And if that is done, nothing stops the same from being done with every other battle, and the Stern Ritter casualties there.

That's the problem that could be incurred: if it is used as a plot device to revive every Stern Ritter that left behind a body. Am I overthinking it? Perhaps, but I almost expect the worst from Kubo at this point, even if it is another writer who is writing the story.

Considering Haschwaldt stated it was a slow process right? But it was also instantenous for Robert. But again, Auswahlen never technically hit them like it did for those 3.

That does make the most sense. Not to mention Old Man Zangetsu was pretty much all in with Ichigo till the end anyway so...

You already know most of the Sternritter aren't coming back and we don't even know WHICH Sternritter are even coming back...
That's why it's best to wait before we assume because the only ones we do know Mayuri have is the Femritter.

700 chapters is plenty of chapters to fill the holes in but Kubo sucks at pacing and story development so. So many wasted chapters in the last arc that could've been used for a 5 chapter flashback.

It's inexcusable to leave things out like the Royal Guard obeys the will of the 5 Noble families and not the Soul King's (which is HUGE development) or how Shunsui hates the Noble families and Ichibei, how Soul Society is a fable full of lies manufactured by the 5 Noble families etc

The more I read this and the more I'm convinced Bleach got the short end of the stick and got cancelled.
There are more background informations than in all of Bleach.

You all could also read the novel itself to get a clear.

The most interesting thing is what did Haschwalth saw in the future that made him act that way and whatwas his goal with showing that future to Ywach as a dream.

So Ichigo was on the wrong side from the beginning. Man, he should have just butchered the nobles and be done with it.

It's hard to tell. In the author comments of volumes of the final arc he was always complaining about getting sick too often and hoped he could finish Bleach before his body wouldn't allow him too. We also know he was in hospital twice for a long period(8 days for headache) during the final arc and his last tweet was about how he wanted to stop at Aizen because of health issues but continued for a sick fan.
He also revealed after Bleach ended that he had several tendons severed recently and a fractured shoulder. So I think drawing a manga is out of the question now.

The cancellation scenario is just weird considering they could've moved it to a different magazine like they did with other series. Authors get notified 6 months prior but Bleach's rushing started in the last 7 chapters. And why would they release so many sequel novels to the manga and promote it so heavily? The former chief editor of WSJ was also suprised about the sudden ending announcement.

Not to mention the fact that, far from ending it early, they could have let Kubo go on break or hiatus so he could recover. Except that did not happen. Instead we got an ending rushed to the extent that it seems the author themselves got fed up with the story and wanted to end it.

Looking at the damage to his body, no amount of rest would've been sufficient. After watching Bakuman I think he was more tired of the manga life in general rather than Bleach. He's looking forward to the live action and is involved.

But just look at the most recent interview released in May:

He says his health was the worse ever during the final part of Bleach.
I think drawing manga is out of the question with his tendons severed

Ichigo, fighting to protect his friends the fucked up status quo since 2001.

Aizen and Yhwach were the true heroes of this story.

That is a real problem with how Ichigo was handled. The Ichigo of the Soul Society arc was one who was actually willing to challenge the system of Soul Society because he felt it was wrong.

But come the "Final War Arc", we see everyone attempting to keep Ichigo as far away as possible from learning the dark sides of Soul Society. The novel has Urahara wanting to keep Ichigo far away from Aizen; it is all but established that the Shinigami will NEVER tell Ichigo that he would have been made the Soul King if Yhwach's corpse wasn't available.

As "We Do Knot Always Love You" has also retroactively shown (along with the entire final two chapters) is that whatever is going on with the politics of the Noble Houses right now...Will never be made public, from what we have seen.

All of the stuff that is being revealed in this novel, as far as we know, is stuff that Ichigo will never learn about. He'll spend his days in blissful ignorance.

Is that how Kubo wants Ichigo to be remembered? A hero who is willfully ignorant of all the problems and sins of Soul Society because "they are my Nakama"?

That would be worse, wouldn't it? Just accepting all of that, despite the fact the Soul Society arc was about him fighting against the injustices of Soul Society's laws, and that he also questioned the Shinigami and Soul Society in the Substitute Shinigami arc.

Furthermore, hat if it turns out whatever Kazui did has feed-back onto Yhwach's corpse, and his power starts to slowly collapse? Squad Zero will not hesitate to find a replacement, and only one person that we know of its the bill: Kurosaki Ichigo, because we don't even know if Squad Zero is aware of Uryu's power surpassing Yhwach's own.

Ichigo fights for his friends and the world, political stuff was never in his mind.

Then they will just defeat the 0 squad. Hikifune might not even take part, being like a mother figure for Hiyori. The rest could be crushed like bugs by Ichigo alone without the plot nerfing him.

If it reaches a point where Ichigo has to take the place of the soul king he could do it without being binded the same way, since aparently that is just the noble families being greedy fucks. They will be dealt with in this novel probably, and if not they would also be stomped like the 0 squad in the future. After all, the Gotei 13 big players will side with Ichigo who also has his own captain level group to have his back.

Or Kazui destroys everyone with the absurd amount of power he should have just for being who he is.
