Normally, they milk shit till it becomes water, but once in a while, they do something amazing. And that at this moment, is by including the popular internet meme most notably from 4Chan, it's meme of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air into one of it's games, Phoenix Wright 2.

    Chapter 290, page 13

This isn't the first time Capcom put a internet meme into it's games, Megaman Battle Network 1 had the All Your Base line.

In terms of talent capcom is at the top. Capcom can make any type of game because their workers have talent in all departments. For example, Square-Enix makes the best rpgs but that’s because they focus and they were born doing that type of games, if S-E tries to make a fighting game or a driving game the results will be bad. There was some driving game Square made for ps2 some time ago and the results were bad.

You can import the JP version. In Capcom winrarness, it has a English subtitle track, like DMC3 and RE4 did before it.

Capcom really kicks ass. And is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. They make great arcade shooters, the best fighters (ofcourse imho), have decent rpg series (boh 1-4 are just too good), have great action games, and even made some of the GB zelda games for crying out loud. Yeah they have a milking problem, but they've put out more than enough games on the side as well. It's just that a lot don't get noticed since the other series go on the forefront.

Capcom Needs to Focus on there old games as well as the New ones.

I garantee we won't see SF4 until Fighting games become popular again.

I wish they put Donovan in DMC series as cameo or something.(at least his sword or anita).

    ^Vegitto-kun

I doubt and pretty much the whole fighting game community doubts that SF4 will ever come out. If Capcom were to make SF4, they REALLY have to pump out something sooooooooooo damn good, because 3s is a VERY hard game to outmake.

    ^Hahahaha, it's coo.

I can imagine a lot of people hating SF or a fighting game in general due to a lack of competetion. Competetion was what made fighting games fun, without another person to push you forward on learning character specifics and whatnot fighting games are pretty boring.

Also depending on where you're living and if you grew up during the arcade age or not. I grew up going to the arcades every weekend watching crowds of people and playing XvSF, A2, A3, ST, and Rival Schools. Yea, I use to hate 3s when I was a kid, but look at me now......I would rather play 3s more than anything.

There's a new SF movie, game & anime coming out next year during SF 20th aniversary. If the new SF game will be a fighting game, I do not know. BUt for sure another SF game is coming out in 2007 (I hope it's not a collection)

As for the movie, I will be based around Chun-Li (way to shaft Ryu & Ken again), I'm 99% syre the movie will suck.

    - Street Fighter series
    - Megaman series
    - Devil May Cry series
    - Resident Evil series
    - Marvel/Street Fighter crossover series
    - Breath of Fire series

Yeah Capcom has owned from generation to generation and they STILL own to this day. One of the only gaming developers to put down pound to pound video game titles over and over again.

Not to mention their other hits:

    Okami
    Pheonix Right
    SNK crossover series
Lost Planet (soon to be a classic

Capcom shows that it's still revelant time & time again. When you think they're down, the make RE4. When you think they fell off, they make Okami. Capcom kicks ass.

You mean the get ripped off by magic trick kid to see her doing the lightning kick (due to forgetting the real name atm). Good times good times. I think she had a cameo in FF2 as well, but I can't remember since it's been a while. Maki kicked ass in that and CVS2
Why thankyou good sir. :amuse. Your sig is quite amusing yourself.
As for the comment to the OP, think of it more as paying respects, rather than a literal opinion, and maybe you'll see them for the stuff they've contributed, though I still think of them as the best myself
And in almost every genre as well. Hell they even had saturday night slam maters, which may be rather crappy as a wrestling game now, but did it kick ass back in the say. It was the only game I bothered to use Hagar in. And I'll partially refrain from mentioning the shooters again. But oh boy when I think of gun smoke, giga wing and mars matrix, the only company that has outdone them for me with shooters is core with the ESP games.

Yea I like Capcom. Loved Megaman and especially Megaman X (cept after 4). Of course SF and RE (especially 4). Gotta quit milkin that cow though she aint got nothing left in her teets.

I dont wanna sound rude, but have you even played 3rd Strike? It's far from slow and it has some of the most fluid animation for a 2D game period.

I like Capcom. I am 14 and my first fighting game for the SNES was Street Fighter. :) Damn I loved that game, played it with Ryu all the time, killed that baddie bastard in ease when I had all the combos in my head and they rolled on the controler like damn watter. Also played a 3D version of Street Fighter for the PS, I just say, woah, DAMN woah. Fluid 3D, they truely amazed me ...

Never played Devil May Cry, aint my style I guess ... -.-

I also agree with one of the other posters that companies should focus on the genre they do best.

    Capcom - Fighting
    Square Enix - RPG
Blizzard - MMORPG, Strategy and RPG
    Microsoft - Strategy

    And etc.

All in all Capocm damn rules!

There are only five Street Fighter game, but SF1 doesn't count. Now if you want to compare SFII to SFIII, then that's a HUGE difference.

SFA1 - Ken and Guy rule.
SFA2 - Custom Combo and Alpha Counters rule.
SFA3 - Variable Combo, Meter Building, and Guard Crush rule.
SFII - Zoning, Counter Matchups, Trading, Projectiles, and Traps rule.
SFIII - Options, Super Arts, Mind Games, and Mixups rule.

Here's a top Super Street Fighter II Turbo play.
    Is that so?

    Alpha 3
    Is that so?

    3rd Strike
    Is that so?

I like Capcom for the Megaman Series. I downloaded SF2 on my Xbox 360 because my friend said I have to try out the game and to be fair, it isn't bad for a fighting game. I never got into the fighting games other than played Mortal Kombat 1-3.

I plan to get the Pheonix Wright games and Okami because they look fun, so ya Capcom is a good company, but I still think Pre-Microsoft Rare was the best one of them all other than Square-Enix.
