could someone tell me how to cut out pictures on photoshop

    depends on if you wanna delete the selection, or crop it down to that selection. cropping is awesome and easy, you can either use the cropping tool, or the rectangular marquee tool followed by using the image drop down menu and selecting crop.

    I'd use the (polygon) lasso, or the pen tool. Personally I prefer the polygon lasso ^^.... zoom in and have a really steady hand xD After that you do ctrl+shift+i (inverse selection) and press the delete button, to delete the background.
    Or you can do ctrl+ c to copy the selection after you finished the polygon lasso.

    I would use the magnetic lasso...it works if the pic is simpl and not that fibery:)
