Name bandmembers (dead or alive) who you would want to form an ultimate group!

    Here's my list!

Vocals: Mike Patton (Mr. Bungle, FNM, etc)
Guitar/Noise Production: Masami Akita (Known as Merzbow)
    Guitar: Steve Lukather (Toto)
    Bass: Jaco Pastorius (Wheater Report)
    Drums: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater)
    Keyboard/Synth/Odd Instrumentation: Mike Oldfield

produced by: Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree)

Motivations: Mike Patton is the most versatile singer ever. He could do every style imaginable that could be created if these artists work togheter. Merzbow and Lukather add out eachother and their very different styles become a solid guitar unit with an attack and a defence. The bass of Pastorious would give a solid ground to stand upon for improvising. Pastorious fretless Jazz bass gives out melodies to create masterpieces. The drums of Mike Portnoy delivers stability and drumpatterns that Merzbow and Patton might enjoy. Finally, the multi talented Mike Oldfield gives the band compositions to build further on...

Finally the band has come up with enough music to start recording and gets into the studio. After 2 months of perfectionizing with the help of their producer Steven Wilson, they are finally finished with the CD. They wrap it up in a nice fold and send it to all the schoolgirls in the world. MTV gets of air and members of various punk-pop bands die of starvation. Finally, a happy world!

    Jimmy Hendrix on guitar.
    Nat King Cole on vocals.
    Franklin Richards on drums.
Bill Clinton with the saxaphone, and Janet Reno on bass.

This would be the ultimate band. They'd be called "The Homo's" homo is for homosapien.

They picked the name on purpose to create political attention, and gay rioters.

If it were possible this is what I would aim for.

    Mike Patton, vocals.
Devin Townsend, lead guitars and vocals.
Dean Ween, second guitar (steel guitar, sitar, banjo)
Les Claypool, Bass and back up vocals
    Warmen, keyboards
    Horgh, drums.
    Loreena McKennit, back up vocals.

And an assortment of session players on horns and assorted instruments.

Production would be done by Devy, with support from Steve Wilson.

The end result would either be something so incredably bizarre that no one knows how to take it, or so incredably beautiful it redefines music as we know it.
