Superboy Prime who is much much stronger than Doomsday ever will be is scared of Flash.
So idea of Doomsday soloing Justice League is preposterous.
He is either stronger than JL in which case he would beat the shit out of Superman or he is beatable by Superman in which case he would get his ass kicked by Justice League.
Let me put this way, Justice League is way way stronger than Superman.

Superman is afraid to fight Martian Manhunter for christ sake. Martians have the exact same physicals as Kryptonians and then some. Jonn would have one shotted DD.

Yeah, the most annoying casual myths about Superman in the comics is that he's an all-powerful hero who can solve anything and beat everyone with all of his powers (besides maybe Zod and Darkseid). The movies keep pushing that myth so he seems boring. But that mostly died out in the Bronze Age. There are tons of villains who can go toe to toe with him: Mongul, Parasite, Black Adam, Parallax, Ares, Trigon. Not to mention all the crap Mxyzptlk has put him through.
Heroes can hold their own with him too. Aquaman is a better fighter underwater and if Green Lanterns get the right powerup they can take down a standard Kryptonian in yellow sunlight. It was especially bad when Supes completely pwned Wonder Woman in Dawn of Justice. In the comics WW is almost always approximately as strong as he is, and the movie version was supposedly much better trained and armed.

But the movies always show Superman as the guy who can punch through everything (unless he's up against Zod or Darkseid). They rarely acknowledge the real reason Superman is stupidly overpowered, his massive arsenal of alien science and superhuman brain.

The thing about Superman's power is that there is a reason why it is very inconsistent. He strength is dependent upon the sun. Depending on how much sun he's cranked on, that is how powerful he will be.

Which really isn't a good thing.

There is a reason X-men keep killing off Jean Grey. If a character is too OP, there is no tension.

Cool concept, meh execution. So, like, another post-52 animated film. It just feels cheap, and low-effort. Being a fat, lazy scrub, I hate throwing around "critiques" like that - but I call it as I see it

The dialogue felt extra cringy in my humble opinion. But I'm a real stickler for fluid conversation. Watch this clip, , it encapsulates exactly how I felt about a solid 70% of the words that came out of people's mouth's in this movie.

I'm sure there is something to be said about the various Supermen and how well (or poorly) their screentime is divided up, but I can't be bothered to articulate on it one way or the other. It was enough that I didn't feel gypped, but I'm not really invested in Kryptonians or their knockoffs, so take that with a grain of salt.

All of that said, some of the jokes land SO on point, they just have absolutely NO right to be even half as funny as I found them. A moderate amount of marijuana was involved in my viewing; your mileage may vary.

Saw it too. Lois Lane is basically the main character, and the dialogue is better delivered than the last movie. That last part isn’t saying much but the first one is actually good to see.

Conner is such a cocky little shit, without veering into actually being unlikable, which is probably why he’s the best portrayal of Superboy in animated form.
    Spoiler:

I can’t stand Lex’s voice tho. Makes me miss Clancy Brown.

I kinda wish shit like the Justice League and Darkseid weren’t involved, because they’re basically throwaways and take up time that could be spent on characters like Steel and such.

Wonder Woman gets a pass because she’s Superman’s ex in this Universe, so you kinda have to include her in some capacity. Also she had good chemistry with Lois for what it was worth.

The art design is better than the previous movie, but I don’t know why. I’m not sure if it’s just the way they use colors in this or just a minor design change, but still.

In regards to the animation tho, it’s kinda cheap and you can notice some animation errors in the last fight.

Also some weird violence and character interactions, particularly anybody with Luthor. He gets treated too well for my taste, Conner let’s him get away with murder, and Superman straight up kills a guy.

It’s an ok out of 10. Flawed but very much watchable, which already makes it better than most of the movies taking place in this animated continuity.

I liked it but then again I am not a very critical person.
Centering movie around Lois was actually a smart move given amount of Superman it had. It was no wonder Cyborg Superman tried very much to convince her that he was the real deal. She is authority on everything that is Superman after all.
I can understand why they showed Justice League and Darkseid. For existence of Cyborg Superman, Darkseid was kind of needed and Justice League needed because it would have looked bullshit for them to not show despite a world ending threat coming to earth.
Action was average though but that is how it goes it Superman movie. Supes is not really technique kind of guy.
Crisis on Infinite Earths was the best movie in terms of action. I still fondly remember WW Vs Superwoman fight. It was gold given how well it was choreographed.
    P. S. : It seems next movie will happen in either space or Apokolips.

Not really. Henshaw just needed the Kryptonian tech back in the comics, they just switched it to Apokolipse tech so they could then have another movie where they invade Apokolipse. If anything, it took away from Cyborg's involvement in the destruction of Coast City, switching it instead to an invasion by Darkseid that doesn't succeed

Maybe I hold DC animated films to a high regard but this movie felt mediocre at best. Also what the hell happened to Darkseid's epic voice?!?!
