Anyone hyped ? I think Wilder will drop Ortiz, because while Ortiz is a much better boxer, Wilder has that ferocious punch and stamina is quite good as well.

Ortiz is closer to 48 than 38. :lmao I think Wilder potshots him with his jab for most of the fight and then takes him out after he tires.

First time I was ever actually worried for Deontay.

Wilder's right hand is unreal. And he showed a chin. Joshua has something to worry about.

Nah he really just has to keep Deontay at bay, something the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more skilled Joshua can do. Wilder has no techinique to speak of, he lowers himself too much and even if AJ isn't some mighty puncher, it's a death by a thousand paper cuts. AJ defends better, attacks better, keeps the pressure on better.

AJ is less skilled than Ortiz though although Ortiz is way older. I honestly think Wilder would be his toughest fight including Kiltschko. I don't rate him that far above Ortiz who everyone ran from(including AJ) until Wilder stepped up against tonight.

  10. Judges had Wilder up on points :grin fucking joke.. strong puncher, unimpressive boxer.

And yet the top heavyweights don't want to fight him.:lmao

  12. Speaks to the standard of heavyweights right now. Joshua will wipe him out though.

I really do not feel that. AJ's work rate, stamina(Well, of course), angling(Is this even a word ?) and defense all shit on Ortiz. Although Ortiz is one of the top punchers with that fucking left of his and certainly has a stronger punch than AJ by a good margin(Not extreme margin, but a good one). I think AJ will outbox and pick Deontay Wilder apart. Of course, I might bite my tongue if AJ doesn't even pass Parker or if Deontay Wilder K.O's the guy very easily.

When I saw that I was like ... " Really ? " . Those knockdowns must have counted for more than they should.

Holy shit. Deontay's a monster. I really like him. The heavyweight division needed someone who could punch like him, it's a shame he didn't have the training from the crib like guys like Mayweather. Can you imagine ? That natural punching ability + skill learned from very early . You'd have a contender for a real GOAT.
