Why does he need to beat SHA when he can just run away

It doesn't "have" to counter anything because Diavolo only has x amount of room to move around in during the timeskip and he'll be tired out while Kira can maintain SHA for indefinite periods of time from across the city which will last long enough to do him in before Diavolo can survive to escape.

He's not going to get 20 meters away in the first place. Stop forcing this nonsense that Diavolo can willy nilly dodge or evade SHA so easily. Jotaro nearly died in the same scenario and he's superior to Diavolo in every way.

 

Jotaro didnt have 10 full seconds to run away and had to protect koichi

Again if they were chasing him when he skipped they'd still be chasing him cause they'd have skipped the distance they were running as well

Its bot timestop, but SHA cant fucking track him during it. Its literally impossible without a specific counter to see Diavolo move or know where he is during the 10 seconds

 

But he could spam and chain his time-stops for 2-3 seconds and could combo them in use, unlike Diavolo with his timeskipping, which IS inferior to time-stopping and more to the point: Star Platinum's stamina and staying power is vastly superior to King Crimson's. Diavolo is fucked, plain and simple. Stop trying to beat the dead horse, SHA does not need to physically "see" Diavolo to track him, timeskip or no timeskip because he'll sweat and heat up from overworking his body and body temperature from constantly trying to evade SHA who from the offset he has no idea how it works or functions.

Its only superior in that your opponents cant move and you cant also affect them, Diavolo still gets 10 seconds of free action that opponents cant stop without serious knowledge and strategy, and he cant harm them during the time skip. Otherwise they do have some similar mechanisms

 

SHA will just kill the wrong person and return to Kira, it's too slow to catch someone that can basically teleport around and predict the immediate future.

Diavolo will easily figure out it's working since the thing charges blindly to any heat source

 

10 seconds of timeskip in which Diavolo can do nothing but MOVE, and something he can not exhaustively repeat over and over like Dio or Kira or Jotaro can with their own time manipulation abilities. What part of King Crimson's staying power and endurance and Diavolo's inability to spam KC's timeskip do you not understand? Its not a question of Diavolo being safe in the timeskip, its a question of how long he can maintain that before he gets blown up.
