In episode 16, did Chiyo granny lady person just pull off a jutsu with one hand? Did this happen in the manga? And on top of that, summoning a mechanical bird? Keyword on mechanical? Thats not cool.

just because kakashi stated that "I've never seen anything like it", it doesn't mean that Haku was the only person that could do it.

It was a statement on how exceptional Haku was.

no...when Haku's bloodline trait is brought up, it's about his ice mirrors and not how he can perform hand seals with just one hand.

    This shows she's skilled.
Temari has a fan, Kankurou has puppets, Gaara has sand, perhaps she has... mechanical birds! Not really that odd for a sand ninja.

Chiyo didn't do this stuff in the manga at all, they didn't send any message. Sand council had their meeting about 3rd Kazekage without getting any message.

But Haku is still not the only person to use one handed seals. Deidara has used them too, both when detonating bombs on Gaara after his arm was ripped off and now when they all did a handseal on top of the statue's fingers.

That damn mecha bird was filler, just like 80% of shippuuden.

Haku's one hand seals was just a high-level ability of hers, it had nothing to do with her Bloodline Limit.

I must admit that I didn't expect that old lady to have such exceptional abilities, though. ;)

    Stop thinking about it.
Also it's normal she carries mechanical birds, she had a room full of puppets back in Sand.

Do you just mean holding up two fingers of one hand? I don't think this is considered a seal, but just some kind of chakra concentration. Kakashi and other Jounin have done it before 'teleporting'. Deidera did it when shouting KATSU! and blowing up his clay birds. Naruto did it when dispelling his Kage Bunshin in the fight with the illusion clones in the forest of death.

If i remember correctly, Itachi uses a one handed seal against Kakashi in episode 82. Gonna have to watch it again to be positive.

Itachi looked like he used a no handed seal. Kakashi couldn't see what he was doing.

The mechanical bird was pretty terrible, although it kinda makes sense in one way. Overall it was unnecessary though.

I'm pretty sure it was nothing fancy. She was only releasing a seal to summon something (Which is done ALL the time with one hand).

It takes approximately 2 minutes to read through an entire chapter of Naruto manga. Naruto episodes are stretched out for on average 22+ minutes. I want you to roll this over in your head until you are undoubtedly in-tune with universal logic, and a basic understanding of time intervals.

A book may take you 2 to 3 weeks to finish reading while the movie production is an hour and forty-five minutes long.

That wasn't a handseal like Haku's one-handed seals. It was nothing more then a simple concentration seal.

So far, in the manga at least, we've never seen anyone but Haku use one-handed handseals.

She did one hand to Release the seal. Just like Deidera does.

It needed a small, one handed combination. Its not quite the same as using your hand to summon chakra from within yourself.

Haku's ability is still unique to him

i think anybody can do one handed signs... but you have to be REALLY good...

Haku was an exception... Chiyo is experienced... and was obviously a mad awsome genius ninja in her youth.

Get over it. Haku isn't the only one who is allowed to do one-handed handseals. It's not that surprising, considering Chiyo is one of the most skilled ninjas in existence.

Haku's bloodline limit is mainly on being able to create high level ice element jutsu like his Demonic Ice Mirrors but hypothetically, if you want to include the One handed Seal thing. You could always say its because of his bloodline limit that he's able to to learn how to use one handed seals (For his Ice Jutsu only probably) at such a young age, lol. :D Coz all the people we've seen use one handed seals are all really powerful ninjas like Deidara, Chiyo, Itachi, etc....
