divx player?

    just wondering if anyone purchased a non-pricey divx compatible dvd player that successfully plays naruto episodes?

    He is talking about a dvd player that plays the divx codec. Thats why you can't just download it, its a dvd player.

    I have a Philips DVP 642 and it plays them fine, but the subtitles are somewhat cut off. Can't do shit about it though because it's an issue of resolution. A DivX DVD player is great for watching movies though because they are generally in widescreen format and will fit perfectly.

    Yeah, the aforementioned Phillips is only $61 US, so it's not expensive...but the resolution is messed up for subtitles, b/c it does no image adjusting...so it still forces you to do some formatting, lol (unless you're fluent in Japanese. Then by all means, have fun, lol).

    I guess you have to put the eps on DVD and not just a data disc to play them on this......
