who else thinks Blink-182 is the greatest band ever?

the main reason i made this thread was to see if people still listened to them...

I don't even think I like Blink-182. Now the Transplants...

Personally I think Green Day is better. Ok, maybe not Green Day, but The Network, which I have to thank Madox for introducing me to.

I only listen to them if I'm in the the mood, but only their live album because they make asshats out of themselves.

Their time is over. Just one of the bands that are popular for a moment, and then forgotten.

I occasionally listen to their new stuff. I just think that it's stupid since Mark and Tom both made new bands. It's like a band fued now plus they both suck balls.

And for the record.. The Network IS Green Day which = both suck.

The only reason people pretend to listen to this band is becuase everyone else pretends to listen to this band.

I like Blink-182. Their music just sounded like they were doing it for the hell of it, even when they got popular it was just them doing it for fun. Although there style did grow up by the end and I actually liked their sound the most in their last CD.

    I've got:
    -All the small things
    -Down
    -Feeling this
    -I miss you
    -What's my age again

These are the only ones I listen to, let's say, once a year. They're not good enough to listen to more frequently, but they're still worthy enough not to get deleted...

Personally I don't really like them... I do despise the style of music after all.

However, I have one song on my iPod by them called "I Miss You". It's not a bad song, and I listen to it occasionally.

I listen to very very rarely. They are NOT the best band ever. They were quite a hit a while ago, though.

I may've hummed some of their songs, though that was due to their popularity and the fact that I've always heard their music.

whilst kids were humming Blink 182 songs, i was listening to Crass and Conflict sing about rascism, sexism and war-crimes. Yeah, i think i made a good choice in punk music

Are they even still together (in some form or another) these days? And no, I don't listen to them anymore. Though, I was never a huge fan of their music, to begin with.

i dunno. i can only take so much crust. and there's nothing wrong with listening to some pop-punk, if it's good. their early albums were actually pretty enjoyable.

well, aside from the fact that Conflict and Crass are the forerunners of anarcho rather than crust (to the trained ear and an active punk, you could see quite the remarkable difference) i do enjoy the odd pop-punk. But Blink were always soulless, or felt it any way and were selling a sound to make a buck. Least thats what was projected to me
