Just curious to see if any of you watch and enjoy these shows I belive the colbert report now airs in canada (our brothers to the north) so if you do watch it what do you think of them. I think they are both equally awsome. If you don't watch them I urge you to do so.

John Stewart is too... liberal. The Daily Show pisses me off now. Maybe when we get a democratic president I can watch it again, but right now I don't agree with any of his skewed opinions.

I agree that its fairly funny though. Just, Craig Kilbourne was a funnier anchor.

He does make fun of democrats but he does pick on republicans more because they seem to be making more mistakes now.

Oh really? Mistakes like what? And in whose eyes? Not that they're not making mistakes, just that are any democrats really making any important, nation-shaking decisions right now?

I like watching the Daily Show (it the only one of the two that plays in SA). I find it particularly funny in the light of some of the liberal vs. conservative debates that go in in this forum. Indeed, Jon Stewart is heavily biased towards "liberal thinking", but one can still find his interviews humorous, even if you are of a "conservative mindset".

Wow you saw the originals too?
I give it to the Daily Show though. I don't really mind his views much, and I like the weird stories, the interviews are really iffy though. I miss Stephen Carrell. His work out sessions, Ad Nausium (SP), his reports, they were all too funny.

1: How can Democrates make any desicions when the Rebpubs control the senate, Congress, and the White House, and oh look at that as we speak Bush is appointing people with no Judging experiance to the SUPREME COURT. Now tell em where is a Demo gonna get his say in?

2: Bush is screwing up. Many other people (I'm horrible with names) that work for him, and that work in the gov't are screwign up as well. It's not just screwing up though. It's royaly boning the nation.

3: Jon Stewart is hilarious. Colbart is good too, but Jon Stewart is just hilarious.

I like the colbert report because of my political views. I found that Jon Stewert was so liberal that he gave me a rather large headache. I don't really like either politcal party by the way, I just think that Colbert doesn't push his beliefs into the viewers as much and Stewert.

P.S. I know I can't spell, I have come to terms with that.

    I don't really watch both.

I used to watch the Daily Show for awhile, but it eventually got boring. Haven't seen the Colbert report yet. Unfortunately, I don't know its show time.

Yeah, I just checked up the listings. Unfortunately, it's on a little past midnight up here in Canada and I don't have the time for it. I'll try on Friday though.

I love the Daily Show! Jon Stewart is one of the most brilliant-minded people on television right now. Not only is he funny and attention-grabbing, he really know how to debate when it comes right down to it.

Take 'Crossfire' for example. He went on that show to promote his book. Instead being his funny self public knows him for, he seriously debated on the issues and told 'Crossfire' they are doing a disservice to american people. The host replied "I thought you were going to be funny!". Jon replied, "I'm not your monkey.".

'Crossfire' was canceled two weeks later. HE ROCKS!

Here's a link where you can watch that Crossfire episode firsthand:

The Democrats are mainly making the mistake of being pussys, same one they've made for years. As far as Kibourne goes I haven't watched any show of his since he cracked that joke about Owen Hart after he died. It wasn't a really sick joke or anything, but I found it to be very disrespectful.
