Don't you have to do something evil to be a villain?

All this final villain crap about Kabuto is stupid. The only thing that classifies him as a villain right now is his previous henchmen status under Orochimaru. He's done nothing evil since. Creepy, sure, but so far all he's done is hand over information concerning Akatsuki.

    It's the thought that counts.

Well, being a henchman of Oro is pretty "not good".

Deeds are really overrated. Inimical philosophy or worldview and contrast with the protagonist are more important, and he has both of those now.

Kabuto probably kills living people that oro has captured (and kabuto probably assists in capturing) so that he can practice on them. Altering their appearance and such as we have seen in the manga. I believe he said something about needing more bodies once in a particular age range. I don't think he meant that they should visit the cemetary.

Anyway he works for an evil dude doing evil stuff. There is no reason to think he ISNT evil. Less twisted then Oro maybe, but no less evil.

Every evil character has to start somewhere, and so we see the spawn of Kabuto's twisted ideologies and life.

I think someone didn't read and watch the manga properly.

Kabuto was just a henchman until now that simply followed Oro's orders. It's his time to step out of Orochimaru's shadow and go onto the path he desires. If it will be evil or good? We will see.

Exactly. You don't need to do something evil to be considered evil; just have the evil mindset, which Kabuto has now.
