Hey, I don't exactly enjoy being a hater, so I hope they are good tracks too. Hope the whole thing will be dope :)

Kweli was totally on his game on Liberation , so it would be a shame if he gets dragged down by watered down instrumentals.

Hell. Fuckin. Yeah. That was a SOLID effort by the two. Honestly, I never really enjoyed Kweli's solos all that much. With each solo I liked it less and less. Until Liberation came out. So I'm hoping that's some indication that things are turning for me when it comes to Kweli solos. Why can't he just get with Mos and put out another Blackstar?

Mos needs to get back on track, I think. And his man Kweli would be just the thing. And vintage Hi Tek......... sad that this is now a wishlist, rather than an enduring working relationship..... we should've had 3 Blackstar albums by now lol....

Strange that Kweli hasn't collabed with Mos in a while.... I wonder why. Last thing was just that chorus on Quality....

Can't they have Blackstar do just one song? Bah. Hopeless dreams.

The track with Madlib catches my eye. I know they torn a new one in Liberation. I only liked a few songs on his last solo album I listened to (Ms. Hill was constantly repeating over and over for my ears). Hopefully he can raise it to the level of Liberation or even further.

I wish they made another Blackstar. Thought that one song "Supreme Supreme" left much to be desired. Maybe if they made another Blackstar, Mos would steer clear from his outthere ventures like Tru3magic, which just wasn't good. I don't know how else to put it. No matter how often I listen to it, and try and reach for a deeper meaning in those tracks, I can't find any. It was just really boring music.

Jay Loves Japan is a perfectly timed record for this season.... very accessible, early summer beats of goodness. RIP Dilla, you never disappoint, above all postmortem hype.
