Assuming that Eri would choose to pursue the career of a pro hero, learn to fully control her quirk and dedicated herself to training how good would she become? Would she be stronger / more effective then current top heroes? Or do you think she wouldn’t be anything special?

I don't think she will be anything special because she seems to be a typical housewife female in her role. Like GravityGirl. tbh GravityGirl hasn't shown me anything that impresses me yet and some of her good showings were forced or don't make sense when we get into later parts of the story. I think Eri is just going to be like a Bulma of sorts. Very interesting character and adds to the story but overall she isn't going to be a frontline fighter or getting into the Mix of things at all when the villains come to attack.

Her POTENTIAL is through the roof. Isn't her power basically a better Aizawa? In comparison she could be like Leech from X-Men.
Aizawa has to look at people to disable their powers. Once Eri learns her powers all she has to do is touch somebody and take away their powers either temporarily or permanently. She can even revert them back to when they were younger/babies or even wipe away their existence essentially killing them with no traces of them anywhere. Heck, who is to say her mutation won't further expand? Maybe she won't even need to touch them but be in a vicinity near them (50 feet for Leech). Remember Shiga needed to actually touch people for his Decay to work and now they just need to be like 100 feet near him and he can decay everything in a city wide block. Maybe an Adult Eri with her powers controlled will be able to nullify everyone around her within 100 feet as well.

BUT here is the thing. She won't get to there because she isn't being written that way. She is the Himawari to Deku's Boruto. She is just there to look cute and have some funny feel-good moments. She isn't Toga. She isn't Bunny. She isn't Mt. Lady. She is like Endeavor's daughter. Just there to cook food and be taken care of. And in the grand scheme of things that is okay but if she learned to hone her powers like Aizawa then 99% of the Villains wouldn't be able to touch her.

After a lot of training and the use of a controlled dose of trigger she will be able to send Bakugo back in time so he can become the second holder of One For All and Deku eventually gets the explosion quirk. Same happens for Kirishima.:dammit

Shed be a pretty bad hero tbh as her power only affects people and cant have its effects reversed atm. Removing a persons quirk is a pretty harsh punishment too tbh, and she’d likely be viewed as a very extreme hero who scares people rather than inspired them solely due to how fucked her quirk is.

A quirk is a physical and emotional part of what makes up a person in MHA, removing them for smaller crimes is pretty inhumane, and akin to maiming someone for life.

In short, it’s effectively a nuclear option of a quirk that should really only be used on the most extreme villains as a form of punishment, would be nigh useless in rescue situations, doesnt increase Eris physical ability at all, and doesn’t amp her movement.

Eris best use of her ability as a “Hero” would be to do what Recovery Girl does, and learn to use her quirk to “rewind” injured people to their states before being injured. But in terms of fighting or preventing disasters or rescuing folk from dangerous situations, shed be pretty useless.

It really depends on the limits of her powers. Is she only restricted to rewinding the human body or can it be applied to abstract concepts (time) or inanimate objects? For example, can she repair a building by rewinding it? It should be interesting to see what she can do if she properly trains her Quirk.

With that said, I think she'll be the next Recovery Girl. She's too valuable to be on the front lines.

Depends on how much she can learn to control/master her quirk. She could easily end up being one of the strongest/best heroes out there or someone more suited to the role of recovery girl depending on the answer.

Eraser confirmed her power don't work on inanimate objects.

She will most likely be a healer. Deku calling her quirk kind and her eventually healing of mirio will only make her wanna become more of a pacifist.
