I was listening to a son called The Ballad of Puppets:The ghost waits within the world beyond. That song is almost 10 minutes long and so intense and perfect in its power I could help but be brought to tears.

    Many.

But those usually attach some memories from my personal life; - not the lyrics itself usually make me cry.

Never happened to me, but the songs that came closest were:

Children of Bodom: Angels don't Kill

Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society: In this River

Angels don't kill was basically the perfect song for the perfect lyrics, but it was mainly the guitar keyboard duet that was really moving.

In this River was a song Zakk dedicated to Dime after he died, they were good friends. It was the style of the song that got my heart pumping, the solo wasn't as good as the one in Angels don't kill but it was really good nontheless.

I was going through some emotional times and I just happened to listen to it during my grieving. Hence, tearness.

Songs don't make me cry, but perfect musical moments do. I cry to music when the music is so perfect and it touchest my innermost being that I can't help but cry by the beauty of the music.

This is not achived by a single song.

Yeah, all of the time. However I am more in tune:p w/ music than others. I remember when I beat Super Mario Bros. 2 & I was crying.:scry It was something in the music (that I can't quite articulate) that tugged @ my heartstrings. Otherwise, it's the "association" game: Whenever a song is being played (or just some orchestra strings in the movie score) to a very emotional scene, that usu. brings tears to people's eyes. :crying

as for me, I don't beleive I've ever cried to a song. Im not that easily moved by songs, but if we go into movies, I'm a 100% pussy :laugh I cried during Monsters INC. & Lilo and Stitch

Just songs that made me cry by themselves (few and far between) :
    Bro Hymn ~ Pennywise
    Gone Away ~ Offspring
    Did You Really ~ Pennywise
Forever & a Day ~ Death By Stereo
    Wonderful ~ Everclear
Live Again (the Fall of Man) ~ Bad Religion

    Beause of memories:
Shoot the Moon ~ Face To Face
Song From an American Movie (Part II) ~ Everclear
Daisies of the Galaxy ~ Eels
    Sad But True ~ Transplants
    Unstoppable ~ Death By Stereo

I've heard a lot of songs that sounded like they were supposed to make me cry, but just didn't pull it off.

Dream Theater - Through Her Eyes

It comes from the album "Scenes From a Memory," which is by far one of the best albums I've ever heard. It's a concept album about a guy who is getting visions of a past life every time he closes his eyes, and that in this past life, he was murdered and the case was never solved. He sets out to find the truth behind what happened.

I cry at everything. I remember that there was a remake of "Heaven" back when 9/11 was huge... and there was a little girl talking to her father through the song. I cried every time the song came on. I still kind of do.

But yes, I cry at everything -- Disney movies, anime, books, all sorts of songs and television shows... I cried at hallmark commercials, etcetc.

Hell, I cry when I hear Aito Hi.

I cry when I listen to "For Fruits Basket" because of the scene with Momiji telling Tohru about his mother.

I even cried at Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter -- both the books and movies.

    Yeah, I'm a softie.

But you know what I never cried at?

    TITANIC.

Two I can think of, but of course I have to be in the mood to cry--if you know what I mean--Johnny Cash's version of Hurt, and Something Corporate's Konstantine. The former is just so powerful, especially the last verse. The latter gets me mainly because it seems to fit my situation pretty well...that is to say it makes me think of a specific girl that I loved alot, and I'm pretty sure that I'm never going to see again. I know it's a pretty emo choice, but all kidding aside, I couldn't be less emo. I'm generally a metal/hard rock fan, but there is just something about that song that gets me.

It's ok to not cry in Titanic. *whishpers, "yes, I never liked that movie"*

I cry in a lot of sad movies, Like The Green Mile and A.I.(Artificial Intelligence)

Naha-chan, I cried whe Momiji told Tohru about him and his mother too! :wtf
And I cried in heaps of anime too. Lately I've been crying to songs, but mainly from Naruto...songs and themes
