OH MY GOD XD DUDE, THAT'S FREAKING HILARIOUS!
Yeah because Spiderman really needed the PG-13 rating, with it's 0 Cursing, action scene on TV which is rated PG-TV. Give me a break, no super hero movie except MAYBE x-men series since wolvie curses and stabs people needed PG13. Please the movie still looks good.
No, sorry but no. When you have a fucking herald of Galactus AND motherfucking Galactus in a movie, it needs pg13. OR it will suck.
And I heard they fucked up Galactus big time.
Owell, i never liked Gayactus much. Comics = Story, movies = action.
Please..don't tell me this is the Rise of the Silver Surfer...it CAN'T be thta one..
It really doesn't matter. if you like him or not. He's a giant motherfucker who eats worlds. That alone warrents a Pg13 rating.
What a damn shame, not worth my time now.
Find it funny people judge before even seeing. All the star wars were rated PG and they outsold probably you favorite movies...
Im still going to watch it...only because of Alba...
1. People didn't give a shit back in the 70's/80's.
2. I've tried to tell you this concept already. IT'S GALACTUS. The fuckers presance alone warrents a pg13 title.
3. Besides, the first sucked. And looking at the current trend of comic book movies, it'll suck. The only reason I had any desire to watch it was because of SS/Galactus.
its worth it to judge b4 watching, people are tired of getting lured into crap movies, dropping 40 bucks to watch and eat a snack with a friend, and leaving with an unhappy ending
plus galactus should be insane, SS is already the most powerful being in marvel universe (minus enchantments, like gauntlets) , and galactus made him. How did they fuck up galactus?
OMG....I think I think...I 'm gonna throw up..
Oh well, I'll probably watch it anyways (not in theaters).
do they want to lose more money or what?
The rating might not be final. In a commercial I saw it said PG might be PG-13 in case they reconsider.
I heard Galactus was just a weird Cloud thing in this movie
Same here Taleran. I hope that's a lie or they're saving his true version for the 3rd movie.
PG would probably make more money because little kids could go.
@Narutosimpson - Well i don't spent 40 dollars, see a movie with friends almost every week and spend 10 dollars, 8.50 for the ticket, 1 dollar for a drink *Outside the theater* and a bag of skittles or something. So 10 dollars, wheater the movie is good or bad, doesn't bother me. I'm going in wanting to see some cool action
@Spec - Well X-men 2 was a BIG step up from it's shitty first one, this looks the same though i enjoyed F4 anyway.
you have to have some standards man, the art of cinema is suffering
Marvel, just stop fucking around with these shitty movies and give us our blessed R-rated Deadpool flick!
It's a movie based on a comic I've read. All i care for is some good action scenes, i have standers just not one unreal, no movie will be perfect and i can live with that
If that's true skulls will be cracked. I put my honor on this.
arrgh! They're not using his ultimate version are they.
XD this is what i got from wiki
"The official novelization of the film refers to Galactus as the Gah Lak Tus - the name of the Ultimate version. Galactus does not appear in humanoid form and is described in the novel as a large cosmic vortex"
so now the only thing this movies got going for itself is the silver surfer and watered down Doom
this shouldve been the look damn it! the Ultimate Alliance Galactus was pretty bad ass...
to tell the truth i don't like the idea of galactus, the planet eater and creator of silver surfer, looking like some lame cos player, with the face of your normal human being. Something more alien and bizarre, but with the same planet eating apparatus makes more sense.
However the cosmic vortex cloud is just pure stupidity.
Doesn't really matter. PG-13 didn't do anything to make the first film good, and it won't make this one bad. Hell, Fantastic Four comics are commonly Rated A for All and not T+ or Parental Advisory. No biggie.
