    Oh I just remembered this one from 1 year and a half ago: Live by Night. I really enjoyed it, trailers were misleading and were telling a different story because it painted Ben Affleck's character like the usual anti-hero that walks too closely the thin line but it was the opposite, but still had many gangster elements to it.

    Every movie needs a transsexual character who shoots dart out of their vagina.

    In all seriousness though, Um....

    - The Godfather: The original is a masterpiece. The sequel is great too, but I'm one of the few people who favor the original.

    - Once Upon a Time in America: Maybe...This is an amazing movie in its own way, but I have to admit that I'm wary of revisiting its 4 hour long running-time. Sometimes though I check it out in parts, as it's flawless when it comes to visuals and sound. Yikes, so many memorable moments. I think my favorite scene is that time jump that uses "yesterday" to signal the transition.

    -The Untouchables: This is probably my personal favorite, in that I can pretty much sit down and watch it whenever I want.

    I'd need to think about it though. "The Goodfellas" is great, but never had that same impact on me that it left on others. This isn't my preferred genre, so I haven't actually seen a lot of them at this time ("Carlito's Way", "Casino" and a few others).

    I am surprised at some of the names listed though. "Gangster Squad"? I mean, it was a fun movie, but I never thought it would be anyones favorite. "Live by Night" was also a bit of a mess, but hey, if you made a 'Favorite Dinosaur movies' thread, I would probably list "Carnosaur"...so...who am I to judge?
