    Favorite Manga-ka?

    I personally like Yu Watase. She wrote a lot of great shojo series, like Ayashi no Ceres (Ceres, Celestial Legend) and Imadoki! CLAMP is also pretty cool too!

    Ai Yazawa (creator of Paradise Kiss) is awesome, I love her style...

    Takaya Natsuki (Fruits Basket) is really good too... her characters look so calm and natural...

    CLAMP... I liked CLAMP in the beginning but I think their style is bit boring >_< But I like their style in Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle, that is really.. woow!

    Other i really like is Eichiro Oda (One Piece) and Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto) and a lot of more, can't remember the names by now... ^^;;;

    I really admire Hiromu Arakawa for making such a kickass shonen series... I thought she was a man :D

    But for my favorite.. I must say Kubo Tite is a genius :)

    Yeah, a lot of the characters in Blade of the Immortal bear slight resemblances to characters in Naruto. Blade came out first, but it's not like they're ripping each other off. Every Naruto fan should read Blade, it's just as good as Naruto if not better. :eek:

    I think there are 15 translated volumes, but it's way past 15 volumes in Japan. I think they're up to 20 or so.

    Masashi Kishimoto all the way, he's my hero and has been a major influence in my art. His poses, foreshortening abilities, inking abilities, and his realistic style all shwo how great an artist he truly is.

    Akira Toriyama most defintley. Dragonball is my favorite manga and he did art on Chrono Trigger which is great and some other great games. Also without him there won't be a Naruto or One PIece... well like it is.

    It's either Kubo Tite or Hiromu Arakawa. I love BLEACH and Fullmetal Alchemist. I also read some Zombie Powder and Stray Dog. Both were pretty enjoyable.

    Ken Akamatsu, for Love Hina. If I ever hit the lotto, I'm going to open a girls' dormitory and be the resident manager. Also, another name I didn't see mentioned was Tohru Fujisawa, for GTO. If I'm not busy being a resident manager, I'll learn Japanese and teach it to bratty schoolkids in between games of chicken on a motorcycle.
