What's your favorite place? Thrift store, online, chain-brand bookstore?

Personally I love to get books online since it's easier but I could also spend hours in a chain-brand store just because there's so many to go through and look at.

The best place has always been online because I'm really not ever left wanting.

Except for the waiting, of course.

The cool thing about places like small used stores or thrift stores is finding things you weren't really looking for but are great nonetheless. I've found some utterly fantastic books this way.

Or working in a used book store and having the first pick.

Online pdfs. Love being able to read whenever I'm on my laptop.

I don't really have a favorite place. Usually when I walk into a book store to browse I end up leaving with something.

I usually use Amazon to get my copies, that or Indigo Chapters when I go downtown

I unfortunately have to order them on amazon. There are no alternatives where I live.

I love to buy books, but I love finding books in great condition at a great price. I find some good stuff at thrift stores and half price books.:nod

I pretty much buy all my books online. There's some real great prices on used things, and if there's a book I'm badly anticipating I will pre-order it. I've gotten some good deals on e-books too.

It’s easy and efficient to buy books online and you always find what you’re looking for. However, a book store with shelves filled with books and smell of the books I have lways found to be special somehow, as well as the atmosphere in those old, small, hidden book stores.
