    True but when you've been jaded with Arsenal for so many years it's a bad habit to let go so quickly.

    Lucas was a good buy.

    But let's see where this goes. My expectations are still low and best to keep it low. I want to be surprised.

    Sir Gareth Southgate to be serenaded with this when he comes home. :blessed

    Yeah country comes first.

    tbf apart from the idiocy of trying to claim Erikson's goal (I swear on my daughter's life :trinny) against Stoke, Kane seems like a decent lad ...... was even an Arsenal fan at one point.

    It was Dele that I struggled with the most thanks to his usual diving cheating antics in the PL.

    Kane & Dele had stinkers today ....... Dele for most of the tournament. Seemed that Southgate was too afraid to sub them off.

    Thought Rashford was largely ineffective as well when he came on.

  3. Torreira and Leno are the big names. Torreira is an absolute monster and was brilliant in then World Cup. And Leno is a young and strong German goal keeper

  4. I was so glad that we pulled the Torreira transfer off :bury

    I know the feeling, I’m a pretty new fan (since 2010) but I’ve quickly grasped how baolitely frustrating Arsenal is. Although I am excited to see this new team and how they function under a new manager.

    But still keeping my hopes low :sadpanda

    Dele was great against Tunisia until his injury. Don't think he fully recovered from that. RLC should have made an appearance.

    I wished you got to see Arsenal in its glory days in the early 2000s and the invincibles when we had players like Henry, Pires, Bergkamp, Viera, Ljunberg, Campbell etc, those were the days :bury

  9. I missed out on the Invincibles too :sadpanda I wasn’t into any kind of sports until about 2008. That’s when I started watching the NBA and then in 2010 bc of the WC I really got into football and then decided to follow some clubs teams too. Been an Arsenal fan ever since, so I deserve a medal bc I became a fan and stuck with them when they were trash :gglife
    Aww, yeah I don’t mind France winning that much either. I just hope it’s a good game :skysun

  10. YESSS!!! God those days must’ve been incredible, I was 7 back then and nobody else watched sports in my family so I was never exposed to it unfortunately

    @Khaleesi

    if you wanna see some early Arsenal banter, check out the infamous Henry / Pires penalty. I can say every Arsenal fan enjoyed that, that was top quality trolling :skully

    @Admiral Kizaru

    breh you remember that? I still laugh to this day :kobeha

    In this thread? Rukia for one.

    Also I've seen Arsenal games where the entire panel consist of ex-Liverpool players. Never seen the reverse.:giogio

    Croatia winning in extra time or by shootout would be perfect.

    But i think France is just better.
