This is the type of fight where the buildup and trash talk is more exciting than the match itself (Which is basically the majority of Conor and Floyd's fights anyway).

    Floyd by decision.

Floyd is both the best boxer and the most boring boxer in history

He'll win and he'll run throughout most of the fight

Floyd is a lock man. He has made so many good boxers look clumsy in the ring.

Showtime's sport executive announced they will do a World Tour

meaning that McGregor and Floyd won't just do two or three press conferences, but we'll see 'em talk shit to each other as they travel to various cities across the globe to sell this fight, I'm already wet..

    :wow

that would have been ideal, but from what I read Floyd's team made sure to add in their bout agreement that they wouldn't go to Dublin during the Tour

looks like they know what that trip to Dublin did to Jose Aldo :lmao

that's wack tho, the Dublin crowd is hype as fucc.. best crowd I've ever seen

Yeah I read its on neutral ground so no Vegas? doesn't seem fair :LOS I wonder if Dana is going be thier? Floyd has be fairly quiet though and that has me worried. Conor might respect him too much and not say anything wild until Floyd or his team come at him

    I need them soundbites :lmao

I'mma say this about Conor, despite what critics think of this event and his chances, the dude's genuinely after Floyd's crown -- and we all know how he is when he wants to dethrone a king :jackal

we will get our soundbites, fret not :wink

not sure if they'll have a presser in Vegas but I'll be surprised if they don't given the fight's taking place there, it's probably gonna be considered "neutral ground" because of that -- this just goes to show that even Floyd recognizes Conor's ability to get in people's heads

I want a reporter to ask Conor to weigh on this matter at the Tour, I'm sure he'll rip into Floyd for refusing to go in Ireland

Yeah Conor would rip him to pieces about skipping Ireland

Conor is a very focused and determined man you gotta give him that, love or hate this fight. His confidence hast truly failed him yet

Im picking Floyd but im hoping for Conor

Mcgregor is a brawler and in boxing there's no fancy mma allowed.

this is a publicity stunt he's going to get fucked up like ricky hatton did.

You Conor fans know he is getting paid to throw.

    This will be WWE level.

Not that I blame the guy he is getting what mid 8 figures to throw that is good money.

are you always this dense, you're on a streak

saying Conor will ''throw'' the fight implies he somehow has the edge on Floyd in a boxing contest, which is stupid -- so if anyone got paid to throw it'd be Floyd not the other way around, and we know how important that undefeated record is to Floyd and his legacy

so as much of a spectacle this fight is I doubt Floyd will throw either

Floyd often gets flack for how he fights but, coming from someone who practices the sport I can't help but give him props

at its core the science of boxing is hitting your opponent without getting hit, and no one's done it better in this era -- it's not the most exciting style for casuals but you don't end up with brain trauma

that being said I tend to gravitate a bit more towards Rigondeaux because even though he's as defense oriented as Floyd is, his movements just have more swagger -- and Lomachenko because his overall game is more complete
