Incidentally ending up on the ground is not the same as entering a fight with the plan to take someone to the ground.

    1) Like I said, most fights end up on the ground. If you end up on the ground, it's essential you know what to do so you don't just flail around like a fish out of water. Whether you went there willingly or not is irrelevant.

Wrestling and grappling abilities are essential even if you intend to stand. Actually, especially if you intend to stand.

    2) Plenty of fights are against one person so drowning someone on the floor is actually the most effective way to control them.

Not sure what your point is honestly..

Most fights end on the ground unless you ko someone.

You obviously haven't been in a fight. Someone will put you in a crappy chokehold when they get mad out of nowhere and if you don't know how to sprawl or push the person away or just hit them in the clinch then it's goona go to the ground.

Most fights end up on the ground because the two people can't fight.

If an unskilled boxer steps to a boxer, he is getting slumped. A crude grapple isn't going to change shit.

    ...

Why do these guys always sit on their ass for 9.9 seconds. Stand up at 10 and then act angry. You didn't want anymore. No shame in that.

If an unskilled wrestler steps to a wrestler, they're getting slammed stiff and their ankle snapped. If they step to a skilled jiu jitsu practitioner, they're getting choked out.

No skill vs skill is always going to lose.

Shit isn't about me saying boxing > all.

It annoys me that people think an unskilled bum can compete with a boxer by bringing something new to the table.

Unskilled grappling will not trouble a boxer.

To that end unskilled boxer should be replaced to unskilled bum, wasteman, cruff, knob etc. It was a mistake on my part

Unskilled grappling and striking will get destroyed by a skilled boxer with no grappling, even if they intended to take it to the ground, provided there isn't a crazy size difference. They would get pretty handily beaten even if the fight starts from the ground, with them on top, and even with brass knuckles on, imo.

Which is exactly what I said.

    Most likely. But not necessarily.

    Nobody said otherwise..
