Do you think that the Godhand have a singular motive? If so, do they have an organized plan for how to enact their wishes? Or are they all just hedonistic demigods who do what they please and don't give two shits about what the others think?

Please support any thoughts with evidence from the manga.

    I'm leaning more towards hedonistic.

See: Slann's mention of the other godhand in the Quilpoth.

they seem to differ with each other and act independently. conrad caused a bunch of villages to die from plague, slann seems more interested in tormenting pagans and gutts, femto became neo-griffth and wants to rule the entire material world, void seems to be the most likely candidate for any kind of deep thoughtful master plan but it's as yet to be revealed certainly, and ubik is there for the lulz :awesome

lol "Ubik being there for the lulz" :lmao

Also, yea I don't see no unity in the Godhand. They just seem to do what they want. And just meet up every eclipse and that's it.

Damn I was looking for an argument but everyone shares my opinion haha. However, they seem to honor tradition and realize that maybe the idea of evil has a plan and it involves them enjoying themselves for eternity.

If anything they all have a unified motive in following the Idea of Evil.

The God Hands are just apostles one step ahead on the corporates ladder. Like them, they were granted power in exchange of a sacrifice and given the freedom
to do whatever they want, as long as they remember that there is someone above them and that they'd better come running when they are called.

Or maybe the Idea of Evil went farther than that and made it so the objectives of the God Hand (at least Femto's, since he is the only one who actually seem to have plans) are a part of its own.
He is. Gutts' destiny was to die in the womb of his mother. All of his actions are a thorn in the Idea's side. But even with the trail of dead apostles he left behind, it's nothing more than a mosquito trying to take down an elephant.
