    Maybe.

He has as much time as he wants and it's not like the sun is gonna attack him.

Goku would die of exastion, I mean the sun wouldn't be affected by any of his ki blasts.

Are you including DBGT? If so, Goku can do Universal Spirit Bomb once a year or something.

He can't use Ki, and punching a big ball of Gas is kind of...well...physically impossible, so a draw (because I honestly don't see goku dying >_>)

He's made of flesh. Even if it's stronger than human flesh. What do you think something hotter than anything on earth will do to him.

I dont think goku has the ability to survive direct radiation from teh sun or the extreme temperatures.

The sun wins without breaking a sweat.

No, he ITs away - the thread starter gave him ability to survive in space.

Anyway, I don't see what Goku can do, without any long range energy attacks.
What's the sun going to do? Power-up Superman him to death?

The Sun can't move. And, assuming that Vegeta's 500g stats are good for Goku, it can't pull him (only 28 g at surface)

    It's a draw XD

Shouldnt the sun have way more gravitational pull than that?

I mean it is keeping pluto in orbit....an awefully far away planet.

You are forgeting that it's also a function of distance. Not only is the sun more massive then earth, it has a larger radius. g = GM/r^2

If the sun were earth's size at the same mass, it would have WAY more gravity then earth (around 10 million times, I think *don't care to calculate it*)

However, orbiting object don't care how large what they are orbiting is, only how far away they are.

The sun pulls earth too, but if you are 1 Au from the sun, it wouldn't 1 G worth of pull.

Imagine you are on the moon. Which pull do you feel more? Moon, earth or sun?

EDIT: In other words, surface gravity and gravitation pull are different.

If the earth and the sun were at the same distance away from you, the sun would have 10 million or so times the pull

    Does that explain it?

99% of the people wouldnt understand that stuff here.

Anywyas, it's funny looking at this thread since I'm taking AST200 right now lol

Goku can't use Ki blasts which renders him pretty useless aganist the Sun. On the other hand....the Sun can't do anything either.

    Draw

    Nothing can happen
