    I wouldn't say that it was weak. In fact it was too simple and he was pretty naive to believe Akiyama wouldn't do a thing.

    It's a decent plan for going against small fry, but against someone of Akiyama/Yokoya's caliber there was no chance for that to follow through without them taking advantage of it.

    I'm surprised he didn't take Akiyama into account or underestimated him given his previous experience.
