    I'm sure there's a Hellsing thread but not all Hellsing fans would be jumping at the opportunity to click on a new post in the thread. Well kids, hell has officially frozen over and shattered all known anime logic when it comes to series that have already ended. Geneon is working on making a Hellsing OVA! Now let the rumors of new Bebop and Trigun begin! heh :smile-big

    Proof can be found here

    Hellsing manga was SO AWESOME.

    Helling anime blew SO MUCH.

    Solution? Pirate the OVAs. Now way I'm wasting another dollar on Hellsing anime.

    Everyone keeps raving about the manga, but I have never seen it anywhere for DL *sniffles*

    If it is animated, it will definitely be a dl, because in my experience animated Hellsing is just "o.k."

    Finally, I've been waiting for the Hellsing anime to start up again, the 13 eps they did weren't nearly enough.

    95% of the plot was taken out and a bunch of crap was added in. Final boss in anime = crap, vampire and werewolf nazis from manga = awesome

    Listen to the good man/woman. He/she knows what they are talking about

    Manga = Awesomeness incarnated
    Anime = S*** in its most purified form

    Can't wait to see this. I always viewed the tv series as nice to look at with good music, but that was it. It'll be great to see something that's much more faithful to the manga.

    Hellsing did good in anime form for me too. As I am even more of a manga reader than anime(if that wasn't too obvious...) I still liked the anime. I'm currently reading the manga and will still say the anime was good.

    I was exposed to the anime first... and I really liked it, I think that the manga was a little too muddled. I think that an OVA could be great the anime ended at a very odd place.

    Ugh the anime was a bit dissapointment it was greatly overated I kept hearing hype around it I decided to watch it saw the trailer first it left me saying "woah" :p Then I saw the entire TV series it left me saying "Well that was a huge let down" :notrust . I keep hearing good things about the manga though since the news says that the OVA will stay truer to the manga than the TV series did then there's a chance the OVA could end up good but then again it could end up being a dissapoitment all over again. :notrust

    Let's hope they get a good voice actor for Alucard. I've seen the dubbed version of the Hellsing anime, and Alucard's voice actor is great... We need someone like that for Alucard :p

    DUDE! DUDE! DUUUUUDE! Well i don't understand how they're accurately going to put a 8+ book series into an OVA....oh well. I love the bird of hermes. And yes, let's hope Alucard's voice actor is still Crispin Freeman.
