    Official Japanese Site:

Intro: Hoshi no Kirby (Kirby of the Stars) is an anime based off of the popular Nintendo video game franchise created by Masahiro Sakurai of HAL Laboratory. The English dub was licensed by 4kids under the title of Kirby: Right Back at Ya! and was, ofcourse, full of edits.

Plot: Thousands of years ago, a being known as Holy Nightmare appeared and created a company called Nightmare Enterprises. It was in truth a front for his great armies of demon beasts, which he used to take over much of the universe. They devastated countless planets. But there were those who stood to combat his evil, in the form of the Star Warriors and the Galaxy Soldier Army. They fought for many thousands of years, but Nightmare's monsters outnumbered them, and killed all but a few. The story tells how this great evil threatens the peaceful country of Pupupu Land on the planet Pop Star. It seems Pop Star could be Holy Nightmare's next target. But the people are told a legendary hero will come to save them; the Star Warrior, Kirby.

    Well, yeah.

I guess this thread could be for people who want to watch it in uncut Japanese. The Kirby dub had some of the WORST voice acting out of any 4kids anime in my opinion.

By the way, nice sig. The Tales of Symphonia anime looks awsome.

yea, the Dub ruined it..by alot. I'd watch this again, but the english voices are still in my head :(

Lol, 4kids butchered alot of anime especially One Piece >.> But anyways, the jap version will always be far superior than the Dubbed one :nod

    So, go Kirby! :knk

thanks..you definitely have to watch the ova. It's really good xD

They gave the characters unreasonable accents.

    King Dedede - Texan accent
    Meta Knight - Spanish accent
    Rick - Australian accent
Blade Knight - terrible Irish accent
