I pronounce them as the japanese do. for example I pronounce Naruto with a rolled R ,basically the same exact way the original anime does it.
Dub watchers kinda find it funny but I hate how they pronounce Naruto or even Sakura with the english accent, it sounds too forced lol.

^LOL. They pronounced Sakura's name as Suh-kurr-uh in Card Captors.

I basically pronounce it as said in the anime.

Me too :laugh My brother once kept on bothering me about how to pronounce twenty. I always say tweeny:amuse And then when I say it right my brother tell me I sound British. Anyway... I say Na-roo-to, but sometimes I extend the pronunciation of the a and the oo just to crack my brother up.

well i take jap and i pronounce how i been taught

    e.g
    NA-R[L]U-TO
    SA-KU-R[L]A
(r[l] just to show that it is an intermediate between the r and l. since japs and chinese don't say r's or l's properly.)
SA-SU-KE (su=a very faint u sound in it. it may sound like s but there is definitely an 'u' sound in it)

I guess how the Japanese pronounce it, as that's when I first heard the names. Not exactly because I think it's better, just habit.

How do you pronounce the names in that have on;y been released in MANGA?

I got this idea from the other one "How do you pronounce the names in Naruto" but What about Hidan (Has it been said in the anime yet? I forget) Suigetsu, Karin, Juugo, you know who I'm talking about.

I think Hidan is....I don't know how to do the pronounciation things like ot of a dictionary so I'll do it preschooler style xD

I think Hidan = Hiddan (pronounced like hidden with an a xD) not like "Hi, Dan!!" lol.

Suigetsu, Karin, Juugo are easy to figure out how they are pronounced. I pronounce Hidan as "he-dan", it could be wrong but I pronounce it that way just because I like the sound of it.

The Jew in me is offended by your opinion on us, while the German applauds it while the French in me surrenders to the German in me.
The Irish in me is wasted and doesn't really give a shit, and the Cherokee in me is screwed over by everyone.

For most japanese names you usually just say all of the syllables.

Suigetsu would be broken down to Sui-ge-tsu and pronounced as they are seen. So yes it would be Su-e-GEt-sue. The "ge" being emphasized. Of course language is not permanent so a variation of Suigetsu would be to leave out the "i" sound like in Shikamaru.
The English dub (*shiver*) pronounces his name shee-ka-ma-roo while the japanese say it shKA-maru. The "i" is silent and attached to the "ka", the "ka" is emphasized and "maru" is said quickly and together.

Same syllable breakdown with Karin. Ka-rin
With Juugo you would just elongate the "u" sound. Joo-oo-go

And yes, I am a language nerd.

Or as close as in the Japanese anime.

I've noticed that American dub watchers like to roll the r's a lot.
