    Drawing Tutorial
All right then here is my tutorial.

    Step1. draw a circle. 0_o

Step2. Draw a vertical line going down the center of the circle.

Step 3.ok next step. Draw the two lines coming down from the lower third of the circle. Then have them meet at the vertical line from step 2. This is the bottom of the chin. Draw a horizontal line through the middle of the vertical line, going all the way across the face. This is where the eyes will go. Also, the lines for the neck should be drawn somewhere that aligns with the pupils. Necks are not straight lines, they curve, and are broader for males than for females. All right now for the more complicated steps.

Step4. Draw the eyes on the Horizontal line, halfway between the top of the head and the bottom of the chin. (I always draw the eyes first) *important: eyes are always 1 unit apart. 1 unit= the length and height of 1 eye.

Step5. Next is the nose. The nose is drawn half way between the vertical line and the bottom of the chin, on the horizontal line ( both sides of the face should be symmetrical on this line) The nose is simply drawn as two curved lines, almost like small, upside down “U’s”. Although this is not the only way to draw noses, its my favorite so there ha!

Step6. The mouth is drawn 1/3 of the distance between the nose and the bottom of the chin. Draw the mouth on the vertical line. The mouth is usually not a straight line, but it can be. *important: smiles NEVER extend past the center of the pupils. Doing so would give the character an unrealistic expression that is almost never used.

Step7. * The hair is drawn 2 units above the eyes. Hair styles vary so you’ll have to come up with that. Eyebrows go somewhere in between. Then draw the ears. *Ears extend from the top of the eyes to the bottom of the nose proportion wise. Of course if you draw lots of hair you can just forget about the ears. The face is 6 units high from the bottom of the chin to the hairline.

Step8. Ok last step is basically erasing sketch marks, shading, clothes, add details etc.

    Same picture, different nose type

    *Important things to remember*:
Units are 1 eye in length and height. (units vary in sizes cuz they’re the same as the eyes)

The face in teenagers is 6 units high, 3.5 in children
    Eyes are 1 unit apart
Eyes are in the center of the head
The nose is halfway between the eyes and the chin
Mouth is 2/3 up from the chin
Hair line is 2 units above the eyes
Smiles don’t extend past the pupils
Its also a good idea to draw lines lightly so u can erase them easier

It is a very good tut, but I can't seem to do the bottom part of the face right.... it always ends up looking like a circle still.
