Here's a respect thread for a graphic masterpiece and my favourite comic series; the Jodoverse. The Jodoverse was created by Alejandro Jodorowsky with artists like Moebius, Zoran Janjetov, Juan Giménez and others. Jodoverse is a space opera that began with unused ideas from Jodovosky's Dune, as well as other influences such as Greek Tragedy, and covering a vast arrey of themes. In anycase, it's amazing and weird and you should read it. Here are the comics in the Jodoverse...
    • The Incal
    • Before The Incal
    • After The Incal
    • Final Incal
    • The Metabarons
    • The Technopriests
    • Megalex
    • The Metabarons - Castaka
    • Weapons of the Metabaron
    • The Metabaron
How they fit together in the Universe, I'm not entirely sure (it's possible that each work is in a different universe or something along those lines; the Metabaron in The Incal is different to the (same) Metabaron in The Metabarons, for reasons that should be obvious to any who's read both). On top of that, there's a traditional RPG based off The Metabarons. Jodoverse is a very powerful and hax setting. Also, some scans will probably be somewhat NSFW with gore and nudity, so I'll censor those when it comes to them. Also, as with most respect threads, this thread contains spoilers.

While the cosmology seems to be different between the different works from what I've seen, I'll try and have a cosmology masterpost to sum it all up.

Transcending everything is the Omphal, the centre of the beginning and the end, where everything is created and consumed.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Metabarons)

Below this but above the universe is the Dimension of Origins, where living lights the size of galaxies dwell. Below that is Inter-Space, higher planes of existence such as the Amber Zone, where transdimensional labyrinths are being spun. Said planes are infinite in size.

Below this we have the universes. Nothing exists between universes, no time, no space, and those who travel between universes have to concentrate on their memories else they'd disappear.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Metabarons)

The Omphal and other divine entities exist beyond all other levels of reality, but are devoted entirely to maintaining them. Other divine entities also eminate from Omphal, such as the Arraths, who guard over the Guardians, who in turn guard the Doors between universes.
There are an infinite number of realities, all of them are virtual. The realities are chosen from different possibilities by Saint Severo De Loyola. Outside reality exists a twisted nightmare scape. Time is an illusion and matter exists only in a realm of dreams. Only consciousness is truly real, as it forms a part of Saint Severo's. The coming of a chosen one is required for a reality to survive (this may also be tied to the Eternal Witness, see below). If not, it consumes itself and reverts to absolute nothingness.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Technopriests)
The space-time continuum was created by Orh, who was sent by higher forces to do so. Orh not only created the space-time continuum, but is the space-time continuum. Each new space-time continuum requires the Eternal Witness (John Difool) to observe it, thus he's stuck in an endless cycle.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Incal)

There are an infinite number of parrallel universes, packed together like bricks or watertight cells, within a dimension inconceivable to the human scale. Travel and communication between universes is possible, but the former requires at least requires aid from one of the six Guardians of the Doors (more on them below).
Hyperspace is a dimension that material bodies enter at faster than light speeds.
Interspace is a dimension beyond matter that the Metabaron has access to travel across the universe.
There are also multiple alternate temporal dimensions.
A diagram of how the universes and their gateways are set out.

    (From Metabarons: Universe Guide)

Above all things is the unthinkable being that primitive men used to called god.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Technopriests)
Further reference to this unknowable being, and it's beyond even the Omphal.

Orh is creator of the Universe. He's the core of the Great Darkness.
    Spoiler:

He created the space-time continuum, and drew John Difool to him from the beginning.

The Great Darkness is ultimately just an aspect of Orh (see above how the core of the Great Darkness was light). Orh sent the Incal to banish the Darkness, and it returned with the sum of all human dreams, which is the seed of a new cosmos. Not only did he create the Universe, but also sustained it. Finally, he unmakes it and lets it fade, before allowing himself to be absorbed into the Incal.

The Son of Orh is not only the Creator of a new space-time continuum, but the space-time continuum itself (which means that Orh was also the Universe as well as its Creator). The Incal sends John Difool off as the Eternal Witness into the new Universe.
    Spoiler:

Of note; how The Incal began.
    Spoiler:

John Difool has always been the Eternal Witness, and has forever been trying and failing to break himself out of the cycle.

    (From The Incal)
Orh may be an Arrath, who eminated from Omphal, sent to look over everything, and guard over the Guardians, who are projections of the Arraths.

The Great Darkness is the embodiment of Darkness which desires to extinguish all light forever. The Great Darkness can affect every atom in the Universe in order to bring itself into reality.

Shortly after the barriers are destroyed, the Great Darkness attacks the light, with the Light Index of the Universe noticeably decreasing moments afterwards.

The Great Darkness exists outside space-time in null space and null time.

The Great Darkness attacks by manifesting peoples in nightmares (NSFW).

    Spoiler:

The Great Darkness is made of the darkness of the human soul, and is an aspect of Orh.

    (From The Incal)

Zombra, a being very similar to the Great Darkness (and may be the Great Darkness of another universe) is capable of threatening reality in a similar way. It will devour everything in the Universe until there's nothing left.

In a future possible timeline, Zombra has done just this (by attacking every atom and their bonds).

    (From The Technopriests)

    The Metabarons are a dynasty of perfect warriors. There are five generations of Metabarons, who are as follows;
    • Othon von Salza
    • Aghnar von Salza
    • Steelhead
    • Aghora
    • Nameless/No Name
No Name (and indeed all the Metabarons) have the full power of Gargales (one of the Guardians) within them, the spirit of which is passed down from father to son after the latter defeats the former in combat.
Honoratta rips open time to save herself, into a time fracture where 5 minutes flows by like 20 years.
    Spoiler:

This time fissure is handed down the Metabarons line an known by Melmoth (AKA Steelhead). This shows that all the tactics of the Metabarons are passed down from father to son (NSFW).
    Spoiler:

Even outside of time fissures, the Metabarons have lightspeed reactions.

    Another potential FTL feat (NSFW).

No Name blows up stars out of boredom.

The Metabunker is the fortress of the Metabarons, and immensly powerful. Tt can crash into planets and blow them to smithereens and emerge unscathed, and it's even said only the Metabaron or a manifestation is powerful enough to damage it.
The Metabunker defies the laws of gravity and physics, and weighs more than even the densest of planets, and moves at the speed of fundamental particles across worlds and dimensions.
Only a being as powerful as a Guardian can damage the Metabunker, as it's enfused with the power of the universe guarded by Gangez. Even then they'd have to deal with the Metabarons warrior spirit, which is
The Metabunker generates greater energy than a black hole, and just by moving produces energyand acceleration comparable to the Big Bang.
The bio-electrogram copy of No Name splits the Metabunker in half.
    Spoiler:

Steelhead effortlessly breaks into the Metabunker like it's just butter.

No Name in the Metacraft blows up the Metabunker.

Aghora fights Steelhead for two days, in which neither can land a single blow.

    Aghnar resists mental probes.
    Spoiler:

Aghnar survives the combined psychic power of the Elder Priestesses.

The final confrontation between Aghora and the high whore-priestesses, and destroys one of them. Also, even if their body is destroyed, the Emperoress' spirit will live on.
    Spoiler:

Even as a baby, No Name crawls between the energies created between Aghora and the androgynous monkey. He's unaffected by their psychic clash, and even turns the tide of the battle and destroys the whore-priestesses.
    Spoiler:

No Name telekinetically blows the head off a eodactyl at 6 months, endured great pain and mutilation on his training, and has enough weapons put into him to destroy a galaxy.
    Spoiler:

Aghora also has enough weapons inside her to destroy a galaxy.

The Metacrafts scanners pick up a galaxy being destroyed 100 million light years away.

Said galaxy was a cosmic parasite, destroyed by Steelheads self-destruction.

Aghora mirrors herself and hides from enemies from a mirror universe, flies to the end of the universe far faster than light.
    Spoiler:

Aghora destroys the Mirror aliens brain.

The enemies inner nucleus makes an exact copy of Aghora complete with all her weapons, but she becomes incorporeal and destroys it. Aghora defeats her foe and regains form, and the nucleus warns that destroying it would cause a chain reaction that would destroy its entire universe, and begs for mercy. Aghora destroys the Nucleus, and with it, its universe.
    Spoiler:

For reference, this is in a zone where the density is so great that the smallest hydrogen atom has enough gravitational mass to destroy a planet through weight alone.
A single mini-bomb is powerful enough to destroy an entire star.

No Name and Steelhead have a psychic battle, which No Name wins.
    Spoiler:

Aghnar easily bypasses the Golden Planets defences.

The Metacraft contains the female alter ego of the Guardian Ganjez.
When travelling in interspace, the Metabaron and the Metacraft crystalize their consiousness, which is the only thing that can survive there.
Aghnar and Steelheads battle transcends existence to higher planes of reality, before reaching the Omphal itself and returning to their starting point.
    Spoiler:

Steelhead not only resists Diaphantes psychic power, but tricks and probes her in return.

Diaphante is an incredibly powerful cosmic parasite. She devastated the entire universe and consumed all life within, leaving only carbonized planets and dead stars and barely any light.
    Spoiler:

All the energy in the universe has been consumed, and now she desires to travel to parallel universes to devour them too (NSFW).

The Cosmic Supra-Lice have evolved not only to consume blood, but also plants, stones and gamma rays (NSFW).

She can read minds, moth biological and cyber (although Steelhead fools her and probes her in return, as said above).

Diaphante devours a planet and a star.

Diaphante plans to devour entire galaxies.

After all the supra-lice are born, they merge together and form a colossal galaxy-sized monster.
    Spoiler:

Cetacyborgs are colossal whale-like creatures. The death of a cetacyborg is on par with a supernova.

    Spoiler:

Their skin can withstand Tri-H torpedoes. Note also the size of them; one tooth dwarves the Metacraft.
    Spoiler:

They can also defend their innards with powerful acids.

Cetacyborgs have enough power to destroy entire planets.

    i also read it

    it's an excellent series

i think this should be the series chronology

    - The Metabarons - Castaka
    - The Metabarons
    - Weapons of the Metabaron (it overlaps with The Metabarons)
    - The Incal series (it also overlaps with The Metabarons)
    - The Metabaron

    as for Megaplex

it's part of the Jodoverse, overall

    same with the Technopriests

The Omphal is the entity that created all existence, and everything will return to it. It resides beyond all other levels of reality.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Metabarons)

Reiterating and expanding on the above, the Omphal resides beyond all other levels of reality, and is dedicated entirely to maintaining the balance of everything. Other divine entities eminate from it.
Reiteration of the higher levels of existence seen in The Metabarons. There's Interspace, beyond the material plane, through which the Metabarons travel. Then there's “the mythical past-beyond", the Amber Zone, where it's implied life came from, the original dimension of pure beauty and eternal calm, where living lights like galaxy-sized jewels dwell. Above all else is the Omphal, the scared entity from which everything is created and consumed.

The Guardians of the Doors are incredibly powerful entities who govern over one of the six Doors of the Universe, and rules over an aspect of the Universe. A powerful secret is associated with each door, relating to the nature of the two universes being linked.
Governing the Universe are Major Forces of the Universe that each flow from six neigbouring universes through the Doors of the Universe, which are guarded by the Guardians of the Doors.
The Guardians of the Doors manage these gateways in order to prevent matter in one universe flowing into another. Each door blends into reality and is fashioned on a level of reality beyond the purely physical.
The passageway between universes is not a physical one, but a conceptual one. The Guardians draw power from the universes, and are the only ones who know the secret to traveling between them.
The Guardians, although incredibly powerful, are not immortal, and can only exist as the physical incarnation of a mortal being.
The confine zones are a zone beyond the outer limits of the universe, and the density is so great that the smallest hydrogen atom could wipe out a planet. Only a few strange creatures like pachydermic jellyfish can be found here, and exploration missions to there never return.
Infact, it's said that a single particle of dust has greater force than all of the cores of all the suns combined
Now onto the different gates. Mardador exists only on a level of reality that can be invoked by its guardian, Gangez. Gangez was this guardian, but his body was destroyed, so he lives in the soul of the Metabaron.
The door of Temper-Ut is the gate between hot and cold, and it's guardian is Uakl, who takes the form of a one-eyed tortoise made up entirely of mercury. His consciousness and essence are fully contained in his only eye, and give access to a dimension as great as a universe. He can control atmosphere and climate. Uakl can only be destroyed if his eye is destroyed. If in such a case this happened, his soul could find refuge in the spirit of a consenting being.
Lucioh is the door that leads from obscurity to light, between shadow and light. Ophidat is it's guardian and manifests as three serpents. As well as possessing power over shadow and light, they also have power over a "wonderfully powerful technology." He is associated with the Techno-Techno order and resides under their Techno-Temple Alter. Not even the highest member of the Techno-Techno order has communicated with it though, and they are far from possessing all of Ophidat's power.
Between the dry borders of this universe and the liquid confines of a neighbouring universe is the Per-Beod door, guarded by Bemb, a giant oyster. Bemb has control over water and possesses the absolute source.
The door of Chonch gives way to a smooth universe, and is seemingly accessed through raggedy places, and is guarded by Ruante, who takes the form of a young humanoid woman. She holds a paint brush that can reshape the surface of any world, as well as act upon the innert matter of these two universes.
Puerko is the door between foulness and perfumed, and guarded by Podrih-Do, a nine-headed reptilian creature. His power is great enough to control the suns and subjugate galaxies.
On the ways in which the six forces interact with each other when they flow through the universe. Each of these forces has an underlying will that animates them, and they are antagonistic to each other, and create conflicts that can affect the fabric of the universe itself, creating black holes, stellar tsunamis antimatter irruptions and more. These forces are beyond even the Metabaron, who guard one of the above Guardians.
Ophidat has enough power to destroy Diaphant should she answer incorrectly.
    Spoiler:

Pachydermic Jellyfish are creatures from a neighbouring universe. By mirroring those they are invading, they reflect the forces of the enemies they're fighting, and send their attacks right back at them. The mirror-ships then went on to destroy at least one planet in their invasion.

Attacking with great force just means the attacks are reflected back just as hard.
    Spoiler:

The brain holding the portal open creates another mirror to fight Aghora. The nucleus of the brain is linked with infinite other nuclei, and destroying it would lead to the destruction of its universe of origin, which is where the jellyfish gain their power from.
    Spoiler:

    (From The Metabarons)

The jellyfish can survive in a zone that's so dense that even the smallest hydrogen atom possesses enough mass to destroy an entire planet through weight alone.

Some miscelaneous feats. Projectile weapons are incredibly powerful, and even the smallest-caliber ladies hand gun can create massive holes with their bullets. Said bullets also travel at around 20,000km/s.
The Vis Pacem Revolver shoots anti-matter bullets.
A Vis Pacem Revolver can overcome the defenses of a battlecruiser and reduce it to wreckage.
Negative mines are anti-matter bombs, used in both space and on land.
Tri-H bombs are a kind of bomb that can devastate three universes.
Tri-H bombs have opened up breaches deep in space so that creatures from interworld could manifest.
Major world can mean not only a planet or moon, but a star system or even an entire galaxy. The Human Universe has 22,000 major worlds.
There are countless creatures from the breaches between universes, including pachydermic jellyfish, star sized manta fish and Jejoh. However, despite the colossal size and power of these beings, they no supernatural abilities or even free will. They can be tamed into submission, as the Shabda-Oud did.
