I started this on the blogs, but I've decided just to make a respect thread of it. The Keys to the Kingdom is a fantasy series by Garth Nix that consists of seven books; Mister Monday, Grim Tuesday, Drowned Wednesday, Sir Thursday, Lady Friday, Superior Saturday and Lord Sunday. It's rather a powerful verse, as the God tiers are explicitly universal, and Trusties/Latter Days are shown to have power to manipulate entire solar systems. Even without raw power, they have a handy amount of hax.

I plan on getting all the infomation out, then compiling it into different individual posts for characters, weapons & factions.

    for the verse.

Before going on, let me highlight some feats from the blogs that are of importance, such as...

    Omnipresent stairs
The powers of the weaker half of the weakest key

Grim Tuesday steals an entire solar system out of the Universe and into a pocket universe

    The size of Drowned Wednesday
What will happen if Drowned Wednesday losses her last bit of control
The destruction of the entire Universe
    And it's recreation

    Captain Feverfew

Time to discus Feverfew the pirate. Elishar Feverfew was once a mortal pirate, but crossed into the Border Sea and became a powerful entity. The Red Hand shows affects anyone who touches his treasure (or buoys to show where his treasure is).

Feverfew is part Denizen, part Nithling.

Feverfews base of operation (created by Grim Tuesday)...

Feverfew is said to be able to turn the sea and sand against his foes. He made the riggings of a ship choke it's crew to death.

Feverfew's true form is revealed when seen in a reflection or from the corner of your eye.

Feverfew regenerates, despite the use of a tactic used to prevent regeneration.

    Feverfews last words.

    The result of his words...

The collapse takes a few hours, but in the end the island-sized world is destroyed completely. Not bad, though a bit of a glass cannon.

    The Skinless Boy/Spirit-Eater

The Skinless Boy is a Nithling created by Superior Saturday way back in Grim Tuesday, though comes to light in Sir Thursday. The Skinless Boy takes Arthurs place in the Universe, as Arthur is in the House. This prevents his return.

If Arthur and the Skinless Boy were to meet, it would result in the desctruction of the entire planet.

Spirit-Eaters are made to look like those they replace, and have the power to gain mental control over anyone they touch.

Description on the Spirit-eater from the Compleat Atlus.

    Thursday stuff

Arthur is given a ring to show how much magic he has in him. If it's more than 60%, then he will turn into a Denizen.

Here is a speed feat from Suzy Blue, one of the weakest characters. It also shows that while Nithlings are invisible to mortals, they are indeed tangable.

Arthur can make himself stronger and faster with the key.

Dame Primus slaughters hundreds of New Nithling soldiers at once with ease.

    The power of the Piper

Time to talk about the Piper. The Piper is the youngest of the Architect and the Old Ones three sons, and one of the strongest characters in the series. He's the same Piper who lead all the children and rats away, to the House. These are the Pipers Children and the Raised Rats. The Piper has control over any of the Pipers Children and Raised Rats.

The Piper is one of 4 characters to be able to survive in Nothing (though it almost destroyed him). The Piper created a pocked universe of his own after being thrown into the Void.

The size of his Universe is unknown, though fromt he descriptions at the start of Sir Thursday it seems to be at least country-sized, and also housed millions of New Nithlings. New Nithlings are far superior to regular Nithlings in intelligence and quality (infact they are said to be more intelligent than regular Denizens even).

The Piper has access to the Improbable Stair.

As a Son of the Architect, he should be similar to the Mariner in power. Even without his harpoon, it took the full power of the Second Key on a Tuesday to defeat the Mariner. As I've mentioned before, the power of the 2nd Key is at least solar system level. Scaled off his brother, the Piper would have that level of innate power. With his Pipes he is even stronger (the Pipes are an object of power, like the Keys or the Harpoon of the Mariner).

    Denizen Arthur

By the time Arthur has 5 keys (and has just gained the 6th) he is a Denizen, or (something similar). He can survive damage and places that would kill an ordinary human.

Arthur uses the power of the key to slay an alien.

On Earth the stratosphere is between 10km and 50km, so that was pretty impressive. He's capable of far greater attacks.

However, even as a Denizen his durability is limited.

So Arthur seems to be somewhat of a glass cannon, if he can be taken down by hundreds or thousands of energy beams. He is able to increase his speed and durability though (as stated in a previous post) and to shield himself (though he chooses not to as he wishes to remain as human as possible).

Arther is shown to have inatte power within himself by now. Without any of the keys, he creates a Nithling out of a childhood toy of his (after several other failed attempts to summon objects from Nothing).

    Revision on the Universal feat

Time for me to go back and put more detail into the final and greatest feat in the series, in which the Universe is completely destroyed and rebuilt. I originally uploaded the full feat in my first blog for this series (you can read it ). First off, how big is the Universe (also known as the Secondary Realms)?

The Universe is infinite. How long does it take to destroy the Universe?

In only a few moments, the entire Universe is completely destroyed by Nothing, on an atomic scale, as shown by this quote here...

It takes much longer to create a Universe than it does to destroy one; it took the Architect billions of years to create the Universe, by process of forming a Big Bang,

The Architect and a wielder of all 7 keys is strong enough to survive unharmed in Nothing, unless they wish to be.

The New Architect should be just as powerful as the Old Architect (and also seems to have cosmic awareness, and universal reality warping). She passes on her power to Arthur.

As I mentioned in my previous, Arthur with 6 of the Keys can still be hurt by things such as falls and lasers. However, as the New Architect he is above such trivialties. For starters, he is stronger than Dame Primus, The Will. The very first sentence of the first book says that even the combined power of all 7 keys cannot destroy the Will.

Grim Tuesday, , as well as the much more powerful Supieror Saturday and Lord Sunday, cannot destroy the Will because it is beyond their power. They were able to split it up however. It's likely in fact that each key is stronger than the last. Even more so is that the New Architect would be stronger than the Old One, an aspect of the Architect created to accelerate the creation of the Universe.

Unlike Dame Primus, the Old One is completely immune to the power of the keys, and can only be harmed by the Architect or direct creations of the Architect made just to do so.

This means that the New Architect isn't a glass cannon, but has considerable durability. Just by touching the Compleat Atlus, the New Architect knows every aspect of the Universe from just moments before it was destroyed, down to every last detail.

But the power of the Architect isn't quite absolute; there are things that both the New and the Old Architect can't do (or can't do properly).

Doesn't Arthur regenerate from a hole in his head in Saturday somewhere? Sounds like Regen Low-Mid. Great respect thread though and I can't wait to see the Piper, Old One, Monday's Noon/Dusk or Sunday if you get to them.

Suzy Blues speed feat and the front door

Returned here at last! I mentioned this before, but I'll now show the scene in it's full detail. Here Suzy is able to fly at 289.68192km/h, and react to Nithlings in-flight.

No doubt the Dawns/Noons/Dusks could easily do that too, and at even faster speeds. She then gets trapped in the front door.

Arthur first entering the House confirms the unknown though massive size of the front door.

    Sentinels

Finally finished the Sentinels infomation over on the blogs (from the prologue of Mister Monday)! Living on a neutron star for 10,000 years can give you impressive feats, such as mach 6506 speed and durability that's at least in the megatons.

Here is me trying to figure out their durability, and getting some help when I messed up.

    And here are the profiles!

Here are some other profiles I did with the hope of getting them on the wiki (mainly just the ones from here, namely Arthur, the Architect, Tuesday and Wednesday).

    Hints of FTL speed?

This segment here hints that wings can travel interstellar distances (the Inspector wishing to return to the House, after his transfer plate was used by the 1st part of the Will). Could this hint at FTL travel?

He never does fly away though - as he's taken away by denizens of the Upper House before he has the chance to.

If a record is changed in the House it also affects what was recorded in the Secondary Realms.

The Coal Cellar is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.

    Population of the House...

More infomation on the Improbable Stair.

Dame Primus, The Will of the Architect (part 1)

The Will of the Architect was created by the Architect 10,000 years ago. It serves as both her will (to say who the heir to her power is) and her will (which caries out actions to bring her desire closer). It's somewhat of an aspect of the Architect, so each of the 7 fragments of the Will can be destribed as an aspect of an aspect of god. She serves as Arthur's stewart, and takes care of the keys when he is in the Secondary Realms. Each part of the Will represents a different virtue (as opposed to the Seven Deadly Sins of the Trustees).

The tree parts of the Will are as follow...

    1. The Frog - Fortitude/Diligence
    2. The Bear - Patience/Prudence
    3. The Carp - Faith
    4. The Snake - Justice
    5. The Beast - Temperance
    6. The Raven - Charity
    7. The Apple Tree - Hope

The combined power of the keys cannot destroy the Will, only weaken it.

The first part of the Will is the weakest (asumably it goes up in that order, but you never know - the last is the strongest though).

The first part of the Will escapes and passes through the Inspectors immaterial boots (immaterial substances can withstand the energy of stars and even Nothing, so this is quite impressive) and fills him with lost knowledge.

The 1st part of the Will freezes a Comissionare Sergant (it takes a few seconds though).

The 1st part of the Will talks through people.

(Seems, however, that the Will isn't omniscient - the Architect built Elysium, then the Secondary Realms, then the House)

The 1st part of the Will is able to possess people.

Part 1 of the Will becomes Dame Primus.

The 2nd part of the Will changes its size.

Dame Primus becomes taller and greater whenever she absorbs another part of the Will.

    More later.

The Architect going by the way is described here, sounds a lot like the God of Preacher.

She seems to be limited by her own irrefutable commands. Just like how God couldn't undo the Saint's ability to kill anything it shot at because they were declared by God to be able to kill anything it shot at.

    The Skinless Boy (continued)

The Skinless Boy kills a grown man with a single punch.

It can see and hear through it's victims, and well as controlling/listening to their thoughts.

It's destruction caused a temporal shizm, sending time forward a week (this is more a feat for Saturday than the Skinless Boy itself).

Keys to the Kingdom humanity is on modern day levels, and can develop deadly diseases. House-born diseases are believed to be a secret government bioweapon.

Also it seems to be slightly in the future, as China has landed on the Moon.

    Lady Friday drinks people

Lady Friday has been stealing mortals away to her mountain home on Avraxyn for years.
Lady Friday "experiences" her victims, devouring their memories and conciousness.

She can experience people when they are awake, but chooses to take them when they're asleep.

    She devours whenever she wants.

She can control people, hundreds at a time at the very least.

She only takes good memories, the rest are sold in the House.

She absorbs the consiousness of thousands of people at once.

Arthur with the 5th Key, returns the consousness to each person.

More on her general feats soon.

Lady Friday does some other stuff

Lady Friday made her holiday home on Avraxyn, one of the most dangerous secondary realms/planets in the Universe (home to the fungus that the Skinless Boy was developed from and the ambulatory seedpoods), located in the Lesser Magellanic Cloud. She takes mortal victims there, and other mortals to be her servants. She's been doing this for over 14 years.
Lady Friday can create doorways leading to anywhere in existance where there is a reflective surface.
Lady Friday moved a mountain from the House to Avraxyn.
The mountain is this wide at the top.
(9000 yards = 8.2296 kilometres, which gives us a diameter of roughly 2.6km.)

She sets a trap to get rid of Arthur, the Piper and Superior Saturday by creating a vortex leading directly to the Void.
The 4th Key isn't enough to destroy the vortex, just slow it down - he needs to use all four of the Keys he has to truly be rid of it.
Lady Friday dodges Tom's spear the "merest fraction of a second" before it its her.

    Scoucher! Run!

While I continue looking for feats for Sir Thursday, I'll just post some stuff on one of the Nithling types, the Scoucher.

It's rapidly increases in size in a moment of seconds and cuts through 15 feet of air with its tentacles.

    It rips apart a fridge.

    Their weakness is silver.

Just by touching you it can draw blood.

    Power of the Old One

The Old One is the second strongest character in the series, likely more powerful than everyone below him combined.

(Though all seven Keys wielded by the Trustees can't do it, all 7 Keys wielded by the heir can)

The Old One is immune to anything of the House or Nothing, save for direct creations of the Architect made to bypass durability.

(Seeing as though your standard Key is Solar System+, and the 7th Key is as powerful as all the other Keys combined, this could very well make the Old One multi-star level or above in durability)

The Piper tried to free his father the Old One, but he too fails.
