In their past matchups, Irving has embarrassed the 2-time NBA MVP. Do you agree Irving is a better player than Curry or not?

Kyrie wouldn't even be able to take the Cavs to the playoffs without LeBron. As much as I hate Curry, every player and team has someone that always does really well against them.

No. Kyrie is great but he isn't Steph level of playmaker.

I would take Steph Curry over Kyrie any day. Their offensive games are both ridiculous in that their ability to create and make shots is one of a kind and one of the best in the game ever.

However Steph's ability to shoot the 3 from such distance is FAR more beneficial than Kyrie's ability to shoot and finish with ease around the rim. At what point on defense do you go, "I can sag off a little bit from Curry. He won't shoot from THAT far"? The guy is one of, if not the best shooters of all time in regard to his RANGE. The simple fear that defenders play with because of that range puts them always pressuring him which means that there will be sagging somewhere else to help defend him if he starts to get happy feet and dance on the defender.

Kyrie on the other hand, his range is not as impressive as Steph's but he can do anything he wants to the defender and get to the rim whenever and however he wants. How many people can really defend Kyrie? A handful at the most and if not, nobody. You can't predict his movements and because of that he can just walk around you if he wanted.

The deciding factor is the playmaking ability. This is where Steph is better than Kyrie because of Steph's ability to see the court better than Kyrie. Kyrie's playstyle is very ISO and not very team involved. And this is a known thing about Kyrie. People KNOW that he ballhogs a lot. People KNOW that he tends to play ISO ball. That's how the man made a name for himself and why people hate playing against him.

Some can debate, oh the talent is not the same. Steph has 3 allstars to pass to and Kyrie doesn't. Kyrie had a couple of all stars of his own on the roster to pass to as well along with decent shooters around him. Sure Steph has Klay, Dray and Durant as well as Iggy, but keep in mind that Steph PASSES.

Anyway that's my two cents lolol.

    Steph > Kyrie

Heck no. Steph 2 Death has 2 rings and is slightly more reliable in almost every aspect. Just slightly, though.

Well, Steph was a lot more valuable to his team among the stars on it (Durant, Klay, Draymond Green) while Kyrie wasn't as, lol. :)

But Kyrie's team has a better record than Steph's even though Steph's has bigger names, lol. :)
