i thought this would be the best place to ask this.

my dad is going to Japan next week and i wanted him to get me the latest edtion of:
    Weekly Shonen Jump
    Weekly Shonen Magazine

i was wondering if he just showed them that (in english) they would understand. if not could someone post the Japanese names of the two magazines so he could just show them the names (he knows nothing about manga/anime so its hopeless to let him find it on his own.)

    thanks in advance

    English: Weekly Shonen magazine
    Japanese: 週刊少年マガジン
    romaji Shuukan Shounen Magajin

    English: Weekly Shonen Jump
    Japanese: 週刊少年ジャンプ
    romaji Shuukan Shounen Janpu

they will take shounen or shonen anyways because when you say shonen its like "sho^nen" you hold the "o" for a while and it sounds like "ou"..so yeh
