    Either way for now.

Marco would be extremely tough to take out due to his regen. That said, his offense is kind of lacking (all I ever remember him doing is kicking people) so I'm not sure how much damage he'll actually do to G4.

    Luffy's winning this now.

Extreme difficulty right now moving onto high once we see how much he's improved after his win against Katakuri on Wano.

Marco's stamina and regen are too much for current Luffy imo.
    Marco wins high diff.

A good argument can be made for any of those characters winning in my opinion. It's true that Luffy has matched up on par with Lord Katakuri. But it's also true that Lord Katakuri could have incapacitated Luffy instead of eating snacks. In any case Luffy is basically around Yonkou First Mate level or at least comparable to it.

Luffy shows a picture of Whitebeard missing half his skull to Marco. Marco collapses and cries. Luffy slaps him like a little bitch for the win.

If the plot needs him to, Luffy can defeat Prime Whitebeard at this point.

The only question here is which lasts longer, G4 or Regen.

As for the fight's progress itself, I have no doubt that G4, near-Katakuri's level CoO and Luffy's own impressive brawling skills > Marco based on current feats.

Marco compared to Kata has more plot relevance, better hype and equally impressive feats so he's more likely than not even stronger than Kata.

Higher end of high diff for Marco.

Next arc Luffy should be able to go toe to toe solidly with the strongest single commander of a Yonkou without any bs like the Katakuri & Cracker fight. So Luffy could probably edge out a win. The arc after that Luffy should be edging on to Yonkou & Admiral with help. And the arc after that edging out wins against Admirals & Yonkou. Luffy's growth accelerated after Dressrosa. Maybe Oda is trying to say the training with Rayleigh has kicked in after fighting a powerful opponent in Dressrosa.

Characters like Katakuri are intermediaries until Yonkous and Admirals. I think. I believe they can give Yonkou's and Admirals high difficult fights. Then characters like Smoothie can give mid difficult fights. Which, let's be honest, isn't all that difficult. They will be an annoyance though. Then characters like Cracker will be low diffed by Admirals & Yonkous.

His stamina & endurance will be the deciding factor.

Agreed, an 11 hour fight against Cracker and another long one against Katakuri just aren't good enough feats for fighting a monster like Marco.

Can't wait for Luffy to finally have his first 336 hour fight, maybe then he can last long enough to beat Marco.

Marco won't be stopping mid-battle for tea and donuts. Based of this arc, Luffy would need to start with Snakeman to guarantee victory. Boundman just isn't cutting it without the need for multiple rounds. As for Snakeman nothing it has shown can compare to withstanding Kizaru/Akainu's attacks. Marco wins (for now).

Since when Marco has great stamina and endurance? I can at least understand endurance if his fruit requires him to be conscious to work so he still has to be able to withstand all these laser (though only for a second so hardly that convincing as a feat of endurance) but stamina? He's only fought for some hours in the MFWar. If you powerscale him from 5-day feat of JinbevsAce or JackvsMinks then Luffy should also be because he should be stronger than Jinbe already.

And no, I don't think you should powerscale him from AkainuvsAokiji's 10-day fight...There's no reason to.

What's wrong with Boundman? Luffy needed Snakeman instead of Boundman to get around Katakuri's high level CoO which Marco doesn't have.

Luffy will need multiple rounds regardless of the form he chooses but he's capable of surviving between rounds now. I think Marco wins very high to extreme diff, which is the same diff Katakuri would have against current Luffy without PIS.

It depends on the limit of Marco's regeneration. We know it has a limit, but we don't know how much.

My intuition is that Luffy will tire first, though, especially if there's nothing to eat around. So Marco probably wins.

If Marco doesn't heal himself, transform, or attack with his talons and instead injures himself and motivates Luffy to powerup and heal midfight, Luffy will win.

If we're not factoring in Plot, Marco wins.

Marco very high diff. Marco took a sucker punch from Garp and was left with a scuff. Luffy doesn't have that type of power output. Eventually, Luffy will run out of steam, and Marco will win.

Sometime between now and the Kaido fight, Luffy will surpass him. But the Luffy that beat Kata would not beat Marco
